Is it Wanjina gardens that is shown in the ad? if so Therefore has a very good point. I originally joined this forum to find out about psychedelic drugs, but to my surprise I became even more interested in learning about these plants called entheogens and how they were used for thousands of years amongst cultures around the world. My respect for these plants had grown so much that I would choose to research and learn about these plants rather then actually consume them, I believe by having things like this forum it actually makes it harder for people to gain information from here as most members wont reply to a neewb asking for ayuwaski, and if they do it is usually telling them to read the rules. Since then I have gained a couple of friends, met a couple of members face-to-face, asked for advice, offered advice and have seriously learned a lot from the people here and will be very saddened if a butt-load of negative attention is generated as a result of the today tonight story.- 262 replies

Intentionally leaving out the name of what drug/plant they are refer to and intsead saying "IT" and showing flashes of every entheogen under the sun keeps the public guessing and assuming the whole ethnobotanical community is a problem (the dangerous drug enticing our youth). I must say most of the youth I know would find going out and getting blind drunk and waking up in a pile of their own vomit more enticing then researching info about caapi. BS channel 7, pure smear campaign. If you had taken the time to do a proper investigative peice like T suggested you would get an unbiased quality piece of investigative journalism that australians would be able to watch and make an informed decision on whether they think it is such a terrible thing. Also the ad makes it look like they're making out as though entho vendors/ and webstores are the same sort of thing as silk road -
top left coner of the screen during the first 20 second and again at 26 - 32 seconds. supposedly the area was a no flight zone, some people say its a goodyear blimp but I am sure there would be some safety concerns with a blimb flying that close to fireworks

I agree police can't pick and choose the job/case they attend although like OPP said it seems they do in certain circumstances have the choice to attend festivals also they could choose not to be a police officer much like every individual can choose their own career/occupation/destiny. If i was in an authoritarian position where the job i was doing was seeing no progress and getting quoted by the media as "Failed" I would either quit or continue getting paid while doing a half assed job of everything. Also they seem to employ tatics like this small roundup so they can bust larger syndicates and then show it all over the news so we can see how much of a good job they've done and give them praise for protecting us, if they thought rationally about it they would see every year there will be countless music festivals where people will continue to take drugs recreationally, the police would start to see it like many of us now see it as a waste of time and resources to pursue a victimless crime. the time and effort gone in to it makes it seem like they could have spent the same amount of time at a customs office and round up more drugs then they could at a festival

I can see why some people are defending the police saying that they are only doing their job, though i can't get my head around someone working as a police officer and has done this sort of (festival/gig) security enough to be able to physically see it isn't working and still choose to continue the futile job no questions asked you have to think whether they love the feeling of power the position instills, or if they are just making such a pretty penny doing it they don't care if it isn't effective.

Good find, I'd say its an ink bottle just because you found that angus & co also made ink bottles I love finding old glassware, I found a faulding & co glass bottle which once contained antiseptic and a mullens cordials newcastle bottle, both were burried in the back yard, along with an old rifle casing and a few assorted bolts and things that look like they were once from a car.

jox I have that plant cutting powder and have used it on a small bit of TBM in the past, it seemed to help a little. It worked well on khat and psychotria cuts I've taken, particularly the psychotria. I'll dip the end of a pach cut i took in the yates cutting powder and see how it compares to another cut that I wont treat with the cutting powder. I have tomato dust which contains; Sulfur 400 g/kg Copper oxychloride 40 g/kg Carbaryl 20 g/kg is this ok to use? if not i'll just stick to cutting in warmer months. Edited; accidentally made the font tiny

I think there are laws making it illegal to abuse OTC medicines for recreation, don't quote me though as i've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for skulling DXM containing cough syrup. I know chemists/pharmacies monitor sales so they can make sure the consumer isn't using the medicine in a manner inconsistent with its labeling or prescription. That being said I don't think they can do anything besides refuse sale, which is how they monitor it. If you try and buy 3 bottles (6 weeks supply?) of cough medicine they upgrade it to pharmacist only, who then inquires as to why you need 6 weeks supply of cough medicine to which there is no answer unless you do have a really bad cough in which case he will inisist to take a look and prescribe the best medicine which will not be 3 bottles of cough syrup. I know this as I worked at a pharmacy for a few months

manually feed greenhouse drip system
Ethos replied to Bert&Ernie's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
That'll work, just make sure the bucket is secure above the level your pots are also try and use curves instead of bends in your drip line even with elbow adapters each bend decreases the flow rate by something like 11% -

I would do the very same thing if i´d be forced to choose between life and death. Who wouldnt? I'm guessing you wouldn't? you'd choose death rather then to burden another country with your pressence? So you would have deported jews that tried to flee into your country back to germany right into their certain death? well? -

what percentage of desert is india with its 1billion population. And I see no logic behind you ranting on about how immigration is such a problem when you aren't willing to look for /hear out an alternate solution to your own unlogical premeditated solution which you have already declared as Quote "the only way". The reason we don't send them back or leave them for dead is because we have ethics behind our logic and that ethic is to help any other human in distress. same reason we don't euthanize everyone over a certain age, when they are deemed an unnessacary drain on resources something called human rights and equality, I value them. Also Re: deserts look in to earthship/ sustainable/ off grid living And my logic behind knowing your ethnicity is I would like to know from what cultural basis your logic has been formed on this issue. Saying we're all illegal's or on peyote dosen't justify that your solution is right, it only makes you look all the more ignorant. especially on an entheogen based forum -
