    Looking for a few things

Hey guys/gals, I have been inactive for a while and after moving houses I have given away/sold/lost most of my plants and seeds collection. I am now looking to start a new garden at my new place and am looking for anything like; Acacia seeds, Trich and Loph seeds, Veggie seeds, various ethno seeds, etc etc.. I don't have much to offer right now in terms of money, but I will be purchasing some trich cuts soon to build my collection back up and any help will eventually be kindly rewarded. PM me if you can help out. Cheers, Ethos

To everyone that responded thanks heaps you guys are the best, I should have enough stuff on the way now to get a garden up and growing and will kindly repay those that helped me out in due time Also you're the man toast, I will have to pop around and catch up soon. Once again Thank you to everyone
  8. So here we go The competition will start 1st of November, and run until the first of July 2012 giving people time to get seeds and propagation stations ready. For now this comp is only open to those who can legally grow lophophora cacti in their state of residence, and that can be any variety of lophophora. Stock does not matter peres to column to echinopsis, one entry plant per member. Seed does not have to be your own just sown by you or accquired by you, main thing is you are the one performing the graft. Considering the competition runs for a year seed could be sown months after the start date. Because of this I have made it not the first to flower but the shortest amount of time to flower, so when you submit your entry you must include the date your seed stock was sown and the date it first OPENED its flower. Prize pool will build up as my ethno collection does, currently the prize is 150 LW seeds November 1st comp begins, photos of any progress and final entries go in this thread

Replied to your PM Wezza, I also have a Grandfern polycarbonate greenhouse I need to get rid of. Same as this one http://www.grandfern.com/products/standard-greenhouse/ I have only put the base together, all polycarbonate panels are still in the original box and all of the structural pieces are still in their shrink wrapping. Retails at $399 but will let it go for around $250, Newcastle pick up only
  14. Today I rescued a striped marsh frog from my pool filter and then set him free in a lush area that I dampened with water so he wouldn't dry out, but I don't feel it was that cool

    small grafts

Hey guys, I have these two small grafts up for grabs. The first is grafted to a trichocereus seedling stock and is a single headed L.williamsii The second is grafted to a pereskiopsis stock from the same batch of seedlings as the first (L.williamsii) but has pupped multiple times. I do not think it is a true caespitosa but I have degrafted 3 smaller pups from it and it currently has four more growing I would like $40 for each of them, hit me up with a PM if you're interested Cheers

    Ariocarpus appreciation thread.

I've only ever tried growing A. Fissuratus, never had a graft successfully take hold and after four years my 'seedlings' are still the size of a few week old Lophophora seedling. Slow growers indeed...
  21. Hey guys/gals, I have to cut down on space in the next couple of days and this means some of my cactus have to go to new homes. Edit; SOLD Regards, Ethos
