    safest cactii?

i know a gnome, his first and only experience on pedro,he weighed up 750 grams worth, peeled the hard green skin on the outside off, then sliced the remainder up and ate like a cucumber. he got a bit of a buzz, but expected much more. next time hes uping the dose or trying hes brigs. he would recomend pedro for a fairly chilled out experience,he reported no visuals, however a feeling of complete serenity was reported! ciao jono

    grafting question...

hey people hope u had a great chrissy and new years! Anyway, i sprouted some loph seeds from sab three months ago. They are about 4 mm high by about 3-4mm wide.I was wondering if it is possible to graft these onto sanpedro stock, and if theres any info around on how to do so?? thanks heaps- jono
  22. was wondering if i could get some help from those in the know, again thanks heaps for last time by the way! two of my lophs are shrinking and have gone kinda soft and wrinkly, and are changing color to a red unhealthy look. Can u tell me what this generally indicates?? they are now getting heaps of sun atop a tin roof,(they come inside at night) and i water them sparingly every week and a half, dont want to lose them! any tips again wouyld be greatly appreciated. cheers jono

    help this clueless loph owner?

thanks so much for the advice,i added water yesterday and practically overnight the lophs had swollen back to their original size!I was of a mind to only water the lophs sparingly, but obviously they require much more during the growth period. Thanks so much again from the help!!! if i could id shout u guys some longnecks of my home brewed coopers sparkling ale!!!!!niiiiice!take it easy jono

    peyote eating caterpillar

maybee it could be birds??I had to cover my lophs with bird wire as small sparrows and the like persisted in uprooting them, they took little chunks out but obviously didnt approve of the tasete or effects????? and left them uprooted in my pots minus some small potions.
