Any special steps you took with the tincture d00d? How long has it been sitting? Will find out what the ratio on by bottle from the health store is but a dropper full is a good dose. Smoking leaves is good. Could do with some type of curing though. Might try using the root bark this way but it smells so bad I can't imagine a smoke would be pleasant.

^^Yeah, accidently tipped a couple girls so I chucked the tips in the scummy tub in the salvia house and they sent out roots amongst the algae etc lol We have probably talked to the same person Blunt, they mentioned theirs flowered outside I know up in Northland it grows outdoors year round..

Cuttings in my rough as guts rooting set up (Salvia roots almost as quick in this as it does in a heated tub) Roots after one week. These had hormone applied but it is unnesscesary. How it grows in the salvia house if left alone. didn't turn the soil or anything in here so these grow slower. The condensation is all from one small bucket of water in the middle of it. The yellowing leaves to the right are from a nutrient deprived Psychotria species. Some cuttings that went in more recently And the Salvia in the cactus house. This has been attacked by mites and aphids before, due to the dry conditions probably. This is my minimal effort approach to Salvia heh

Cheeky bump Auxin, did you ever test the inner root? I have almost finished seperating all my rootbark and rootwood and wanted to know if it was worth hanging onto the wood? And also if the rootbark by itself turned out more potent? Seeds were from you originally come to think of it Edited to add: Also, when you trialed the ripe berries as an oneirogen did you discard the seeds? Really want to eat these berries, something about the calyx on these and cape gooseberries is very appealing.

Will root year round in NZ if indoors. I imagine where I live is slightly colder than where you are, Salvia doesn't slow down that much over winter and cuttings take the same amount of time as in summer. I will try and get a pic of my greenhouse Salvias up, they have huge leaves and are quite bushy compared to the Salvia in the cactus house. They have responded well to all ferts I have given them (1/2 dosage on label at least). Especially the bat guano organic ferts from SOG. I think it's called Earth Juice.

Hey man Gotta keep tipping her or Sally will get leggy. Moreso in pots than in soil. And no, more humidty and less sunlight will make them stretch even more. If they are growing in the middle of the room where you have taken the photo they probably dont have enough sun. A warm window or even better a conservatory or a sun room would be good if possible Edit: just noticed this, givem a repot. my Sallys always seemed to stall if they got rootbound (happens quick) so now they all go in the ground after they have rooted. So if I was you I would take a cutting of each and then repot in some rich rich soil. She will love you for it!

Yeah, I'm sure qualia is aware of that and was referring to interference from the Feds. Apparently lots of the dispensaries in "legal" states get raided..

Hey man howsit Check out the NZ Trichocereus thread, few photos of this clone in there. CC used to get a lot of seeds from Karl Knize, who is well known for fucking up his labels.. So it is probably just wild collected mongrel seed. Their blue peruvianus (nicknamed Martin) was from Sulcorebutia seeds lol Ask Martin about it if you can, he could fill you in somewhat Im sure. The spines on this cactus get much bigger on older growth.

Root mealy bugs. I usually see em on non columnar cacti but wouldn't be surprised to see them on Trichos..

6 grams of spice from two "labs" sounds like the police are really nabbing some of the big players these days, forget ice and smack cooks/importers making millions.. hope the people that got pinched dont do time.

Hey all Just after some Sida and Henbane seeds, any species. I have seeds of Cherimoya Catnip Syrian Rue Tulsi Okra Paw Paw Coleus Baby Woodrose Various Trichocereus Solanum centrale Nicotiana rustica Datura strammonium I would get some from SAB but I am pretty broke at the moment, do have a cart full of stuff from there for next pay day tho. I know these are pretty weedy in some parts of the world so they will be grown indoors to avoid any acts of eco terrorism..

I think it jumps at 300 posts to 3 dots and 1000 posts to 4 dots.

LOL at the above posts If anyone is wondering, they look like they are related to the number of posts a member has. More posts more dots

Cheers for that Psylo, I will have to compare it to stirred and left in a plunger press for 1/2 hour, both of which work effectively and can be re used. I had always thought that stirring would have done the same job as massaging if you are using powdered kava but now I'm intrigued! Will report back! Think I'm nearly out though..

Lucky man, Waka grade is the best I have been able to find. I have heard the same thing about it being made from the laterals. Keen to try making something similar from my plants laterals. Don't bother with Fijian stuff I have tried it numerous times and it is very weak and the effects are different. V The Yogi brand Kava tea is good and quick to use as it's tea bags with Kava extracts, doesn't have all the qualities of a nice bag of Waka though. 2 - 3 level table spoons should be right with Waka, seems the addequate dose for myself and my partner. YMMV but go easy, when I have overdone it with Waka before I have passed out an woken up the next day feeling the effects strongly still. And yes, when I'm lazy (most of the time) I use the method you described, 3 spoons in water, stir, drink water, add more, constantly stirring Don't use boiling or hot water it apparently kills some of the goodies, I use luke warm or cold water. Mixing with milk seems to work even better, I think there is an old post from Torsten about making some sorta milkshakes that were tasty. Milk and honey is a favourite of mine but more than a big glass of milk can be hard on the tum! I never bother straining it and usually end up regretting it, seems to add more of a bodyload too if you eat it all Look up some British recipies, isn't it a staple there at christmas etc? Unless has Peep Show misinformed me.. Would it be possible for me travelling to Australia (NZ citizen, never been to Aus before) to take 2kg with me on the plane? Or is it only for Aussies coming home from holiday? Also, how bad an idea is it to make an ethanol tincture of some Waka powder? The alcohol+kava combo that is..

Whats the story with the NZ tricho mix?

Kanna or that other ice plant with similar properties could be good.
