  1. Yeah, one step ahead of you. Their Anal Probe episode was based around an experience I had with the beings on a spice adventure. I get a handsome cut.
  2. Personally, I find that I have my best recall and most interesting dreams when I'm totally sober and with no alarm to wake me in the morning. Stay off the booze and cigarettes and organize a day off from work the following day and give that a try. I've used Calea a bit in the past and found that although I remembered the dreams clearly, they were not particularly pleasant. For instance, one I remember clearly was being in a workshop full of strange machines and a pit full of faecal material (to which I was adding). Yeah, dreaming of scat is probably something I could do without. It was interesting to experiment, but after a few times dreaming with Calea I decided it wasn't making my dreams any more amazing than usual and, as mentioned already in this string, the sleep was quite disturbed. One other suggestion... whenever I make my wife a Damiana tea before bed, she has strong dreams that night (she normally has very little recall of her dreams). You could give that a try (Damiana tea is delicious anyway).
  3. This whole water thing was talked about in the film "What the bleep do we know", a good watch about some of the unusual implications of quantum physics. Worth checking out if you're into the idea.
  4. Yeah, thought you might be... well, I guess we'll be treading un-treaded ground. Not 100% sure I buy the whole Homeopathy thing, but my mate is a fervent believer and I'm curious to see how an Ayahuasca remedy would go down in Homeopathy circles. If there's anything interesting to report, I'll post.
  5. Hey Morg, Not sure if you're having a laugh or if you're serious, but I have a friend who practices homeopathy and we were talking about making some remedies from some of the brews I like to cook up and having a go at proving them... can you share some info about what work you've done? (unless you're having a laugh, in which case... umm... he he he he <nervous laugh to try and fit in>). Feel free to PM or post.
  6. Thanks Interbeing, I'll check out Destiny of Souls. Thanks Hamma too, I guess.... that was a pretty full on reply. I try to not take things quite so seriously, but I dig what you're saying. Something that I've learnt is that there's only one thing I know for sure... and that's that I don't know shit! I do, however, enjoy pondering various possible truths. Do we reincarnate? Do we just end up rotting in a hole in the ground? Am I an alien playing a super-realistic virtual reality video game and, if so..... why did I choose this character??? I could have been a dwarven warrior goddamnit!!
  7. Has anyone here heard about this? In a nutshell, there is a hypnotherapist called Michael Newton who was working with past life regressions and somehow stumbled upon the ability to regress people to a point in their previous life at the moment of death. The case studies then described to him the experience of what happened after death. Anyway, the reason I'm posting on this forum is that when I read the book "Journey of Souls", which is his collection of case studies, I couldn't help but feel that I've been to this place that was being described. Said another way, the experience described sounds very much like an Aya experience (of which I've read) Anyone else read about this? Link http://www.journeyofsouls.com.au/
  8. Thanks Spacemonk, LSDreamz, Blowng and Quilliam, I'll keep an eye for the smart-arses.
  9. I love the eco-friendliness of this, but I do wonder what the mycelium thinks of it all. ???
  10. Thanks GingaNinja, Gerbil, Mr Me, Evil Genius and Mac for the warm welcome.
  11. Hi all, I've been hanging around the forums a while and before I start commenting on other posts, I wanted to formally introduce myself. I've just started a little indoor garden, a few south american plants, a few cacti, a few good old fashioned cooking herbs. I consider myself well schooled (in both theory and practice) in terms of shamanistic relationships with plants, however, I am a Noob in terms of actually growing them... I've gathered some good propagating info from these forums, so thank you to everyone for their knowledge. The forums I'll most often frequent are the mycology forum, the cacti forum and the Ethnobotany forum. I have a deep respect for plants (and fungi) and the relationship we humans have with them, from fruit and vegetables, to medicinal plants to entheogenic beauties. I've got a young family and I don't partake very often these days, but these plants will always be important in my life. I'm looking forward to getting my garden established and I'm sure I'll be asking advice along the way. Anyhoo, see you all around the place. Thanks again. Rabaelthazar
