    Seeds Australia WAS closing down

well... is there anything else we CAN do? after getup failed to take it on, (even though the voting #'s ROMPED the competition), perhaps this one is set in government concrete? not killing our spirits, but honestly... what can we do? apart from march in the streets? (there wouldn't be enough local support in one area for this to happen - and the places there would be, may not be adhered to/paid attention to...) having said that, you wonder how the hell they're going to enforce this. brugs are EVERYwhere in queensland. trichs are extremely common - from your PC right down to that spachianus growing next to your grandmas letterbox. it's just impossible... and imagine the confusion of the court whenever one of dmt plants(as in, half of australia) is mentioned. perhaps this may be a law relying on 'intent'. suspicion means a lot more in court when it's a government that's doing the suspecting. - sorry to see seeds australia go.

    manitou rolling tobacco

it's a bit scary isn't it? btw i looked at that list, really interesting. and again, scary. i used to grow rustica in the states for a short period, and although i couldn't say what homegrown N.tobaccum tastes like, the rustica could practically be called psychedelic nicotine. a very clear-headed entheogenic experience, complete with a shitty, classic purge if you're inexperienced and smoke a full bowl fast(never, EVER, doing that again. god....DAMN...) btw IMO dry tobacco = useless tobacco. try a dried apricot, or an apple piece works classicly. i'll try that potato skin shavings idea

i'll comment on an older thread instead of making a new one - just wanted to report on the bali nature brand. the other day i ran out of the usual champion ruby pouch, and after deciding to make this bad habit as healthy as possible, i asked for organic RYO at the tobacconist and was pointed to this. (wasn't going to go chop-chop. figured it wasn't worth incriminating myself over such a silly and confused law.) bali nature = really, really good, you don't really realise how much 'chemical' is in the normal cigarette until you've tried the organic stuff. it's SOOO much easier to inhale, yet a little bit harsher at the same time, and it tastes pretty much like cigar tobacco, which is fairly reassuring it's 'close to the real thing'. not to mention i feel like it kicks the nicotine pants off my old champion ruby to about a 3:1 ratio (i am BUZZING. off HALF a cigarette. no joke.) as previously said in this thread i also find myself smoking a lot LESS, because i am satisfied for a lot longer duration off a fix. it's funny though, you can tell there is something else addictive in the commercial chemical cigarettes these days that DEFINATELY doesn't come from a nicotiana plant. if i persist to have partially 'unsatisfied' cravings after switching to smoking something as organic and strong as this stuff(which i am ) , well... something is definately not right here. government = coverup. sometimes i ever wonder if society ever graduates the kindergarden playground. all in the name of greed... anyhow, this stuff costs exactly the same as my old champion, and, though as we know, smoking anything will harm you, i will bet my left testicle you are reducing the harm when you make the organic switch. i don't think i'll ever go back to that other commercial rubbish... it just smokes like plastic now.

    Heimia Salicifolia

yes do read up on tst's method. i remember i tried it in a tea a long time ago, a while later, i was in a-LOT of pain... not to sound hypochondriac... but seriously, my whole body ached. actually pretty scary. and no effects... but yes, i've heard good things about mentioned "tst's method".

just out of curiosity, what else have you seen? this guy has three strikes out (possibly four, depending what state he's in)... man i'm tempted to send him an email just to make sure he knows the implications... there's definately police on ebay, even though some items seem to slip through. and what's it all for? why couldn't he just sell it to a friend, privately, instead of out in the open? is it for attention? status? man.. for real, if someone knows this guy, save him (and the community) already, before the authorities make a needless implicated connection between those known 'bad' items he's selling and the innocent 'unusually personality-named' trich cuts.

    nepeta cataria herbal homebrew?

hey guys, first post i've been getting into homebrew alot lately, and have wondered at what effect adding N. cataria to the cauldron might have? with hops, beer is pretty sedating enough, but i'm thinking the catnip might give it a little "glimmer".. sounds kinda cool, but wondering about the actual theory of it(hah!) anyhow, i assume i can perhaps just put a big-ass handful of leaves into the latter stages of a boiling pot of water, steep it for maybe.. say 15-20 mins? then add it to the brew, as i would the malt, hops etc. i'd strain the leaves off, fermenting just the liquid.. i've heard leaves can make the brew pretty bitter. i use kits, btw, and don't self-mash. not that far into it yet! guys, what are your thoughts? has anybody any experience with herbal hombrews? did they turn out okay? any recommendations? i'm also thinking pretty hard about an artemisia arborescens brew as well. or even maybe that AND the catnip.. i should be drinking this catnip brew by christmas. if folks are interested, i'll let y'all know how it all went. grazie, hunnicutt.
