I have no idea about unfair dismissal laws in the US but I know a couple of cases where people have been accused without proof and gotten compensation. One dude worked at a nursery, was stealing heaps of shit, was accused on suspicions without proof and got given three options: 1) He quits 2) Cops will be called 3) Fired and "see ya in court" ... unfortunately for the employer the court date was literally the day before the Howard Government's changes to unfair dismissal laws came into effect. He got about $10k out of em even though he was originally in the wrong, went to South America and spent the most part of 6 months snorting coke by the oz. Second situation was a friend that worked for Apple. In the system somehow his account was given administrator privileges that normally one in his position shouldn't have. Something glitched out in the system and all the sick days for his store got wiped - they accused him and fired him. He fought it and got a few grand out of em, and most importantly able to still use them as a reference which was necessary landing him a sweet job running the mac laptop program in a private girls school in the city. Unsafe work environment is definitely the winner, as long as you don't put them as a reference of course. It's always considered unsavoury to bad-mouth the previous employer regardless of how things ended, but claiming you left based on unsafe environment indicates that you would rather leave a job upon a threatening to personal wellbeing then hang around until you're injured and then sue them for injury compensation. I know in Australia they legally cannot give you a bad reference, they either have to give a good one or refuse to give one. My partner who has had multiple management positions where hiring new employees has been a responsibility advises the following: DO NOT EVER say 'personal' or 'discrimination' on a job application unless you have won a unfair dismissal court case. 'Personal' shows that you left for reasons of not being able to maintain positive relationships with team and management. 'Discrimination' without legal proof implies an unwillingness to take responsibility for any wrong doing that could have led to you leaving a previous employer, so if you win a court case against them then you have every right to explain you were discriminated against otherwise keep your mouth shut.

The closest my electronic tastes have gotten to mainstream in a long time. Producer has done a mad job at creating an album that transcends conventional genres and uniquely melds elements of house, dubstep, garage, 2 step and UK Funky with most tracks containing excellent vocal collaborations as well. The album gained a lot of momentum in the UK Bass scene last year, being featured in countless mixes and creating a bit of mainstream hype. 2012 was the year that got me to move away from dark and dirty shit, or heavy and erratic, to smooth garage\UK Funky choons and even housey stuff because there are plenty of upcoming artists that have been able to revamp said styles with cleverness and big basslines enough to make it appealing.

Lol just want to put in my experience of a parcel 'awaiting clearance' for a long time... Ordered some different glassware bits and pieces, honestly just wanting to try distilling some essential oils etc, and some of the pieces it turns out were not wise to attempt importing without an End User Declaration already filed. 2 months later still no show, emailed the sender and got the tracking number, it showed that it had left China and Parcel was listed at customs 'awaiting clearance' for about a month. That's when I got suspicious and told my partner that if the card for pickup suddenly arrives in the mail then I would like her to accompany me to the PO in case I got arrested. I figured since I did intend to use the glassware for legal purposes and I didn't have any reagents or illicits beyond personal posession that I would be okay as long as I acted like I had nothing to hide. Another month went by, nothing came, and then after my partner and I temporarily breaking up and me heading up the coast I got the dreaded message that a Senior Constable had come knocking... my absence and sudden move away initially triggered more suspicion, but luckily the house was clean and the smoking paraphernalia well hidden. Turns out the place had been under surveillance for multiple weeks (yes that suspicious van was actually what paranoia told me it was), but with all windows relatively concealed it was only a matter of time until they'd need to have a look inside. My partner showed them my med sci course work, showed them books I had on essential oils and soap making, stupidly showed them a magnetic stirrer (but they didn't connect any dots), denied the question of drug usage under the guise of my bipolar diagnosis, gave em my number and then I spoke to them politely explaining my intentions, claimed ignorance and asked when a good time would be to come back down to Sydney and discuss in person. She outlined that at that time I was not in any trouble, but if they were to release the glassware to me I would be in trouble, a "catch 22" as she described it. The morning of the arranged meeting back at the apartment I was alerted by text that the Senior Constable had gotten a call out to regional NSW somewhere and would need to reschedule. ...3 months down the track I finally get another phone call from the Senior Constable, asking if I was back in Sydney,and then I was congratulated for sorting things out with my partner. She asked if I was free for her to drop by the apartment for me to sign some forms. I looked around from behind very red eyes at my messy lounge room littered with smoking paraphernalia and spent nangs, and replied that I was currently at uni and wouldn't be home for 4 hours. She then told me that all I need to do instead is email her a declaration that stated I give custody for the NSW Police Department to seize permanent possession of my glassware from customs, sign and date, scan with passport + license and send away. Long story short I got away without suspicion of illicit activities, which would no doubt be reflected on my police record, and I maintained my stretch of having no criminal charges or even cautions against my name. One piece of drug related equipment sitting out when the police first came to my place would have given them right to a warrant to search the place. What they would have found paraphenalia etc wise would have been enough to link the glassware to what they presumed the glassware was for, the seizing of my computers would have possibly shown a previous educational indulgence of various synths, and obtaining my phone records may have linked to people involved in previous investigations of illegal activities etc. Just like that one bad purchase decision could have snowballed into charges of ordering restricted materials with intent to manufacture even though I am honest to god I had and still have no intention to EVER synth amphs or MD because I have no desire to involve myself in criminal activity that could fuck my future altogether. Plain and simple. So from this my advice is if you ever order something to your home address that you shouldn't, and it stays at customs for a suspiciously long time, you only have one chance to sanitize your shit, get your story straight and prepare for the storm. If you ordered to a PO Box instead of home address, then you may well get arrested for questioning at the PO (wouldn't be the first time I know of this happening to people as a fact). I advise everybody that doing such shit is not worth the risk of your future, and if you do at least be smart enough not to use your own computer and IP addy to order, don't order shit to your own house in your own name if you aren't willing to accept that it could land you in legal trouble, and prepare a contingency plan if shit goes sour. Or don't and risk ending up one of those cases of ordering RCs for personal use and ending up getting done with importation of commercial quantity.

As everybody has spelled out - build your own setup and obtain your spores\culture locally. The shroomery is filled with dozens of vouched for setups and techniques for cultivating, pick one that suits you and do it from scratch. I can't imagine any 'grow kit' that will out perform a well planned and constructed setup, and it's guaranteed to be cheaper. Tubs can be bought cheaply to use as incubators and fruiting chambers, humidity\heat can be provided multiple different ways (i.e. reservoir of water under a thick layer of clay balls with an aquarium heater + air stones n pump), and the more you put into your construction the easier time you'll have learning the ropes of the first few grow attempts. ...and if you're planning on growing and fruiting jars as opposed to bulk substrate, invest the money towards a pressure cooker and use liquid culture instead of spores if possible. When growing bulk you only need the one out of five jars to colonise without contam, but if you plan to fruit from jars each cake you lose to contam is potentially 200g fresh over three flushes lost. Funnily enough I've never grown myself, but I've seen the process done extensively by many different people and the one who invested the most time\energy\money into building the setup was the most rewarded with less hassles from the beginning.

I noticed a pretty big difference from putting some mycelium infused soil in with the tube mix for Obtus seedlings, which was obtained maybe 4 inches below top-soil around the root system of an established maidenii tree. I can't say whether the benefit was from introduction of fungal or bacterial microbes, but it gave them a head start compared to previous germination attempts. Can't comment for acuminata, but I do know there is benefit to putting them in the ground ASAP. If you're considering repotting them, depending on current size, you may want to think about putting straight in the ground. Rule of thumb is if they are ready to pot up from 4 inch tubes, then they're ready for the ground, and if there is going to be beneficial bacteria or fungus anywhere then chances are better in soil. Once they grow to about 1.5m high in the ground and the weather gets warm, the growth is pretty well exponential from there. Very rapid. I've seen recently a side by side comparison of one kept in large pots and one put in the ground. The one in the ground is 4 times bigger and 2 years younger than the jumbo pot one. After a certain point it's cruel to keep natives confined to containers.

Fuck peat moss.............Sugar cane mulch is the fuckn bomb. Unlike wood chip mulches etc you need to reapply more often because it breaks down It's a bit more expensive than say pea straw mulch but as it breaks it releases nitrogen. Works great from experience.

Man you see S. cordifolia growing in random neglected patches in Sydney and I've known people on properties in NSW where they have fields covered in it. It's very weedy..... With more and more states allowing usage for medicinal purposes, along with 2 states legalising for recreational, I'm really curious how the federal vs state law differences are going to play out over the next few years. On another note with the laws from Colorado and Washington taking effect today, I read today that Washington although planning to implement commercial regulated distribution of recreational cannabis, along with legal possession of an ounce or less, are not in fact allowing personal cultivation except for those using it for medicinal permission. This kinda rubs me up the wrong way a bit - it's like selling beer in stores but denying those who would prefer to homebrew. Colorado however are allowing personal cultivation of a reasonable amount of plants and making it legal for a person over 21 to grow and give another adult some of their bud for free... I'll see if I can hunt down the article.

I tested clean after 7 days but I was only smoking 0.5 a day, 4-5 days a week through bongs. I ate an excess of 2500 calories the day before and a big meal on the day, making sure I cabbed it to the test to lower the amount of metabolite released from fat cells prior to the test. I drank a shitload of water with some creatine and b1 but obviously wasn't dilute enough to reject the test... also if you fail a test based purely on dilution you've bought yourself another 1+ days to resit the test if you're lucky, but just make sure you don't overdo it for the second time and fail that way again. I've been smoking about a 05-1.5g a day for a couple of months, with the odd day or two off hear and there, and reckon I'll probably need 12-16 days before I'll test clean again taking into consideration that I'm about 10kg lighter then when I last tested. As far as I know synths generally don't test positive for the THC metabolite so they can provide you a little relief trying to detox before a test, but from experience some synth blends are psycho intense though short lived and made me fear for my life for about 20 minutes after smoking.... though others have been reasonably pleasant. Even if a synth did trigger a false positive for another drug, the further GC\MS analysis for confirmation won't be looking for synth products. Can't comment on any of the spike or flush products... wouldn't waste my cash on em personally - be more inclined to buy home test kits with the same cutoff which by memory is 50ug and test my progress before a test, failing that I'd try delay test with medical certs or something or find a job that doesn't test or at least swab tests instead.

I know a 17 year old who had a mate order tabs of that stuff from silkroad dirt cheap, like so fuckn cheap that its understandable why greedy individuals would sell it as acid. I think a bit part of vocalising that sort of content is just some hope that somebody will listen - getting proper psychiatric help is a hard step for a lot of people so expression of suicidal intent is usually in hope that people around them will force them into getting help. I do definitely agree with you about the emotional immaturity. I've spent a bit of time inpatient over the past 10 years due to bipolar and I've noticed that repeated overdose attempts and self harm tendencies are traits found in mostly adolescent patients or emotionally immature adults.. the same applies to eating disorders. These people always treat mental illness like it's their identity, it's what makes them who they are, and that is a very sad place to be because these people often don't want to be happy. I guess I'm the type when in depressive episodes who is more inclined to isolate and keep my mouth shut - the mentality being that I don't want all the people around me to be burdened.. and besides nobody wants to be around those who are miserable and can't be cheered up coz it's just a fuckn buzz kill hehe.
