    Yeah,im totally into Malt Whiskey.

    Dont get me started I could go on and on.

    I go to tastings and Masterclasses,its a great way to learn,and sample rare stuff you would not normally find,or afford!

    I have tried most malts,it does take a while to develop the palette.

    Best starting off with lighter styles,they working up to the heavily peated Islay malts.

    Must admit haven't tried the Limeburner,sounds good........well Ive actually never had a bad Single Malt.

    I have had a few Aussie Malts,they are quite good.Bloody good for a fledgling industry.

    Try the first nip straight,but just add a few drops of water,it releases a lot more subtle flavor.

    Smell it for a while first,this will help prepare the taste senses.

    Then just sip it,slowly.

    After that,you may want to have a decent 2 fingers on the rocks.

    I enjoyed it.

    As always the fuss and hype over the genital mutilation scene out of proportion.

    All the critical focus was on that and not the wonderful way the themes about "the powers of nature"

    and also "female energy" were presented.

    I have been giving myself some space before watching it again.

    I am sure there are many more sublime elements in there.

    What a great camp!

    What Id like to report is the respect this group of strangers had for each other.

    People done what they wanted ,no judging or complaining.

    So refreshing to meet new people and have none of the dreary cliched banter....what do you do?what footy team do you go for...

    No talk of politics,religion,salary caps etc ..

    Just people enjoying The Moment...and boy was the moment good,

    The forest shared her secrets,the moon hung overhead watching with approval.

    The fire giving warmth to some very happy campers.

    Once again,great to meet you,only had time to connect with a few of you.

    Most of the time my head was in forest....and lots of other places.

    Will make a few more connections next year.

    i will be bringing quite a few pedro cuts. will need some cooking skills to be implemented though.

     

    I have a gas cooktop and pots,enough gas to simmer for hours if required.

    I will behave myself,with a few quiet drinks,hopefully we will not need the effects of alcohol.

    Now a big petition,COME AWAY WITH US CHIRAL!!!!.....please.

    My car is packed,im ready to go.

    Hi all,

    well this time next week we will be setting up.

    will it turn out like survivor?....or Gilligans island....Lost...or Lord of the Flies.

    I cant see who will be the first to crack under Chirals scathing dry wit.

    Who will be the first evicted?

    Just some thoughts in the mean time.

    Out of it peeps in the dark and fire...anybody bring a basic first aid kit.

    Will we be going Dutch on the tucker...is the spit still an option?

    Once we firm up the numbers,we will see......cooking for say 15 takes some planning.

    I will set up a cooktop and provide tea and coffee,if everyone just brings a cup.

    It will convert to a Whisky Bar at night.

    The G spot is a bit exposed to the road,a more private setting would be preferred.

    No phone coverage is a worry (says he who doesn't have a mobile)

    We will just have to go check for stragglers every few hours I suppose.....and the next day for sat arrivals.

    I am #3 and will arrive before time on Fri.

    Fingers crossed for the cold snap.

    Respect to you Chaos for your good intentions,trying to get a Coastal meet going.

    For me....sometimes with people less is more.

    And just like a good brew.....quality is more important than quantity.

    It was good to finally have a bit of time with you,and great to meet the young blokes.

    Now you have one less thing to worry about,as you concentrate on your forthcoming wedding.

    well i think the weekend of the 28th april is locked in right? i'm keen for this weekend and seeing as people have already put their holidays in i think it should be made official. looking forward to this very much.

    now that the date is sorted lets figure out who will bring what...i seem to remember we counted on hillbilly a lot last time...so um fingers crossed he is coming again.

     

    Ok I may be old,and a space cadet but am I in another time dimension?

    I have checked 2 calenders and the 28th is a Wed???

    I have just asked another human who is teetotaler and the last weekend that is actually in April is the long weekend of the 24/25.

    The next weekend after that is.....in my books....the first weekend in May.

    Is it that people are going on Fri April 30 that it is being refered to as the last weekend in April???...cause the Sat and Sun are in May.

    Can anybody out there relate to my confusion???

    I was applying for holidays tomorrow,and now there is talk of change.......

    Ok well that suits me.

    A.cause its harder to get time off on a long weekend,as so many fellow workers have already put in for it.

    B.having it on the Anzac Day long weekend might limit our privacy somewhat.

    we could end up with (other) drunken bogans in the camp area.

    there will be lots of passing traffic out to Jenolan,and possibly rangers,scouts,the legit shroom club etc.

    I would have thought the first weekend in May would be a lot Quieter and more private.

    either way,can we just make the date firm.

    Just as a thought,a full moon would have been nice,and possibly made the decision of a date easier.

    But the cycle is 28th of April and 27th of May.

    Oh well.

    Any more consensus on a Date?

    Ok seriously back to business .

    In my experience from importing,and I was fortunate to have a good crack at it at the start of the decade.

    But customs eventually became only heavy on bark and woody stuff and want to nuke it and send me letters, but Psychotria I had in the same shipments

    was fine and forwarded to me straight away.

    So how do you think I would go ordering this stuff

    It is just leaf....for study....under my caapi.....I am game to order some.

    Like 60bucks aint much to wager,and cheaper than just the passport to Peru.....Ok not quite the same...just making some some context.

    Those words....multiple trauma...just dont quite describe the pain.

    Knowing your back is broken...and trying to wiggle your toes....even though your legs are broken...

    now that is scarey....

    Mr Sharxx,

    You seem to be having great sucess with your propogating,

    Any chance of sharing your method.

    ie,rooting powder or gel, hothouse,lights or shadyspot.Rockwool or a vermiculite-peatmoss mix?

    Well I once met a clever gnome who had no probs bringing in enough to extract 8 pure little thingies.

    Gave me a few tea bags....Inka Tea www.inkatea.com

    Tastes like shite and gives this hardhead no effects....having said that,and motivated by this thread,im just sipping a brew now to double check.

    I have had some for a couple of months and they are growing well,comparative to Carth,which was the whole rational for the cross.

    Got some Viridis at the same time,but no way did it make it thru the heatwave that week.

    Fingers crossed that there will be decent activity.It will open up a pathway,that in my climate is currently closed.

    I imagine it will still be a year or two before anyone can breed up enough for a brew and debrief.
