  1. I can vouch that....in a place where it is legal......AFOAF had a bit of experience with these.

    Not for the novice

    Not for the fainthearted

Not a real CEV colours thing...more a trip straight to the heart of the twilight zone.

Nature really makes stuff from the amazon so full on.

Friend says slowly work up to a combo with Caapi,if you really want an Amazon experience like no other.

These guys should come with a warning,be responsible with sharing and distributing.

Bad trips can bring a lot of attention, and negative scrutiny.

These dudes are way more "dark" than subs.

  2. Thanks so much everybody for your comments.

It has encouraged me to continue this post.

I have an outdoor bar, perfect for an ethno meet one day

Anyone keen to have a few whiskies, feel free to contact me.

All the encouragement has inspired me to do an outdoor room makeover in my shrooming lodge.

Under the shadow of my Caapi, with tentacles coming in thru the window to join me.

I know its not all ethno pics, but to me Gardening is a passion,

and the fact that I can interact on another level with ethnos,is cream on top.

And I was very pleased when she grew thru the window to join me.

See her shadow on the outside.

Here is a tip for you all,

When you are in the zone,on a top brew, stick the end of a shoot, from an attached branch in your mouth,

like you are smoking a hooka, close your eyes, and check out those visions!

  4. Well everyone, thanks for the spelling lesson.......what a silly bunt.

Looks like the thread got off to a wrong start.

Ill go and practice my social and spelling skills, and maybe....one day...

    I might start another thread.

    Thanks for all your comments,

    Have a lovely day.

  5. "I, personally, find the comparison between a tree crotch and a womans genitals, completely moronic; yet nobody had an issue with that."(yogibear)

Well here is another post from the insane moron who started this thread.

Dont piss all over my thread with your silly bitching.

I didnt start it as a thread to mock Moderators or anybody else.

It was to discuss MY relationship with my plant, and it does have a feature, that without too much imagination

does look like spread legs and a crotch.

Yes it is spelt wrong in the heading.

Yes I wanted to set a light tone,to show some pics of a very healthy plant.

ONE OF THE MAJOR PLANTS THIS FORUM IS ABOUT,AND THIS COMMUNITY IS INTERESTED IN.

  6. Yes Krazy,

I could easily argue that the whole universe has evolved and conspired for me to be in the moment with my plant teacher.

Some of us want to search for the tools that nature has provided to open the secret parts of our mind.

Our innermost thoughts are just as valid as any soul who has been fortunate to experience life.

On the other hand we are such an insignificant blip, who or what really cares.

Yet we have the tools to "do as we will"....

Some choose KY Jelly, some choose Ayahausca, some choose Football.

Yogi, I hope you come across a decent brew one day,and thanks..It is a very nice plant.

  7. Seeing nobody has a clue what consciousness is ,where, why it developed,or why it is that we have it, and it has taken

us on this particular road on this particular planet....

I reckon my take on reality is just as valid as anybodies......

That is that anybodies take on reality is just as valid as anybody else s...

In my reasonably informed opinion,my caapi is enhancing my particular life experience.

And maybe..just maybe....all the circumstances of my life have lead me to this discovery....or this insanity!

  8. I gotta ask - did you and her have a one on one chat or did she bring friends along to the conversation?

She likes to have different plant friends along for a tea party,or for smoko.

They cant talk themselves,so she speaks on their behalf, they help make her dialogue

    louder and clearer.

So it works like this,my normal internal voice, gets hijacked(for want of a better word)

and I get told stuff about stuff, plant care tips, actual instructions, and health reports.

All in all my green thumbs are getting greener.

  9. She seems to lapping up that midsummer sun. They certainly are an adaptable plant & very resilient too.

Was she a cutting or was she grown from seed ?

I feel like she's part of me too. :P

    Hope yours have struck.

  10. Well my cyber buddies its time for this lurkers contribution.

I am on the forum every day,and am across all the info and issues,

    I just dont like typing.

So anyhow,I have just cracked a bottle of whisky,

taken half a day to work out how to resize pics,

and here is my yearly garden happy snaps.

Being a lurker doesnt mean I am not totally involved in this community.

I love having guest visitors, and being generous in trading, and storytelling.

I will say....here on my own thread,I have been disappointed at the slanging matches

    and degenerating of good threads.

Yes i was even a victim of the downfall of Chiral.

But being a member for 8 years I know the quality will return.

I look forward to meeting more of you at this years NSW camping trip and meetings.

    So without any further ado,

  11. I have always thought of my Caapi as a female,

For 10 years I have caressed her lovingly and addressed her as the great mother.

Then a while ago, whilst adjusting some mulch, she revealed her "mound of venus" to me

    between her spread legs.

    post-337-0-00097500-1296369720_thumb.jpg

Photos don't do it justice but i think you get the jist of my meaning.

So while posting I may as well show some more of my darling

I love those twisting "snakey" bits

    post-337-0-81607500-1296370579_thumb.jpg

Here she is basking in the sun.

    post-337-0-06100600-1296370781_thumb.jpg

Once she got to 10,I drank of her and she is now a part of me.

In my blood permanently like a vaccine,or herpies to be more crude.

Without going into detail, she now informs me on the finer art of gardening,

its like having a horticulturist in my head.

Just like nature only needed to evolve one animal with consciousness,

It only needed to evolve one Great Mother plant, that has its own unique planty consciousness.

Planting ,nurturing and having a "as one" relationship with a Caapi,is a must do thing in life.

Forget bucket lists of bungy jumping and stuff, just grow a caapi and the plant world will bless you.

    Cheers!

    The Hawk

  12. Well I done a search and couldnt find this topic posted already.which I find surprising.

I have read a lot of ayahuasca books, and I am currently reading this one by an Australian author

    rak razam,who lives at Mullimbimby.

It is refreshingly good.It is written in "gonzo journalism" style, and is about the aya tourism industry.

There is a great website where you can look at the pictures for each chapter.

    http://www.ayathebook.com/home.html

If anyone is looking for a good summer read I recommend this.

It seems that rak went to the Amazon as a reporter for Australian penthouse, and the vine has given him a new career,

On the back of this book he is now one of the new Champions for Aya.Traveling the world ,going to conferences and lectures

    and stuff.What a great life.

Drink a whole lot of Aya with the who is who of Amazon Shamanism and end up as a poster boy for the movement.

Helping the vine spread its tendrils around the earth.

  13. The other half of Coil has gone to join John Balance in the great Solar Lodge.

Sleazy was in Throbbing Gristle,Psychic TV,Coil and a few later side projects.

Always at the forefront of "industrial" culture and technology

They were instrumental in the modern occult revival, and were very open about their

    use of stuff.DMT aya etc.

  14. Ray was interviewed on the program and basically said he was offering a safe alternative to the blackmarket stuff.

The vendor (store owner)I spoke to was the most naive person for that role,I was quite dumbfounded!

I overheard a conversation she had with another airhead, one of those standard anccdotes I imagine she recites daily,

she was saying the only time she has ever got high was at a party where she was given a cookie not knowing it was

a drug and she got high and everybody thought it was a great joke and it was "Sooooooo awful!")

I bought the book AYA,which she said she would like to read one day,

and during our conversation on it she had never heard of Caapi, was not sure about Syrian Rue

had no clue about the phenomena of sacred mushrooms.

She was mainly focused on selling herbal teas to ladies with period cramp.

Pan only knows how she would go advising kids on getting legally high.

Anyhow that is my 2 bobs worth,I must get back out in the garden,

So many cactus to pot up.

  15. It was on a capsule called Neon.

9 had it scientifically analysed and it had a synthetic cannabis in it.

Somebody correct me if im wrong....from memory....i didnt write this down,

    was it CA128.(something like that)

Banned in most countries but not Australia yet.

Im sure it will be fast tracked thru legislation now.

Basically the doctor who was interviewed said that the danger with these legal highs is that

people dont get the buzz they expect (cause they are piss weak and overhyped) so they take

double or triple the recommended dosage and that is when they can get into strife.

I am not going to check out the 9 website,I have gardening to do and the sun is finally shining!,but maybe the story is on there.

  16. Was in HHH the other day and the female owner was very guarded whilst I was asking about stuff.

She admitted that a "feature" on the danger of legal highs was being done on the organization.

And they have been told to be extra careful with their image.

Yes just in time for the party, festival season channel 9 are going to create anxiety in parents by doing a witch hunt on HHH

and their corrupting of our youth.

Who as far as I can see dont have anything worth taking.

Anyhow since then I have seen the news promoting this story which airs tonight at 6pm.

Apparently one of their pills has something that ch9 feel they can cause a panic about.

  17. Yeah I watched the show and thought it was brilliant.

I have started doing it with stuff like wormwood, southernwood and geraniums.

Will do lavender (like she did)and rosemary.

If all that goes well, and it sure looks like it is,will start with trees and ethnos.

Good old gardening australia......they do have some good stuff on,and its always worth a watch.

  18. I was shocked and applauded when i saw that story the other day as well.

Thank goodness the papers run stuff like that to make us all aware of these outlandish horrors.

It didnt even say that the rest of the carcass was used for cat food or anything.

Not that that would justify an targeted attack on a species at all.

As more Asians get affluent they are going to want more of their cultural delicacies.

I rather a race that has a love of the joy of nature as its culture.

  19. I am aware this thread started from discussion over pics in a thread about my garden.

So I thought i would grab my new camera and post some pics here.

    Greenhouse mid winter.

My plastic greenhouse, affectionately known as the Condom,is nothing special...except for what it achieves.

I think anyone on this forum who wants to grow a wide range of Ethnos will need a protective and humid area.

    post-337-127960384438_thumb.jpgpost-337-127960392975_thumb.jpgpost-337-12796039909_thumb.jpg

I am sure we don't grow just Ethnos, most of us appreciate all of nature.

Greenhouses get our plants off to a great start.

    post-337-127960443259_thumb.jpg

A lot of people worry about the right materials and expense.

The cheap homemade houses in this thread are all terrific.

Especially during the winter the most important thing is protection.

The best bonus of a hothouse is even when it is pissing down you can still hang out with some plants and do some gardening!

  20. Hey Bread,

Well....after reading in other threads of your immunity to some of the other things you have been trying,

it must be a relief in some way that you actually got some effect, thus your moneys worth out of something!

Will keep an eye on this thread,to see how workable this gear is..

Take it easy, nothing like a wake up call.....or a not waking up call.....or a not breathing call...

  21. I just spent $25 on the book "a field companion to AUSTRALIAN FUNGI"

I could have saved the money and just printed out this thread.

    Really great photos!!

    Dont stop.

All of us cant get enough.

  22. Ok,

    Somebody resurrected this thread.

A few questions about the grenhouse.

Well I was looking around and everythjing was very expensive, and VERY small.

Then a mate at work puts up a notice at work for one for sale.$250 but cause he is a good mate he sold it for $200!delivered.

Went up in a day.Looked a bit tired, but with a bit of lattice and a few creative plantings, looks like its been there for years.

He was trying to breed yabbies in 2 big tanks inside it.....but the pipe dream never quite got there.

The main reason I wanted one was to keep the frost off stuff.

I line it with brown shadecloth in the summer cause it gets too hot.

Never had a plant die in there,Everything loves it,and a wide variety.

My only mistake was.......and this could be a lesson for most.

I put some datura in there...just to round out the collection....and the white-fly loves them.

Then they migrated to my psychotria.

A bugger of a time getting rid of them.

You dont want white fly in your greenhouse.

So thanks for the positive reply folks.

    Another photo update this Spring.
