  2. Nice personal review whitewind.

Shame we didnt all catch up.

I agree, in all the aya hype there is little mention of the importance and joy of growing the plants themselves.

It takes the experience to a new level again when you are brewing with plants you grew and love.

    Journeying with them.

to my mind, being with your own 10yo vine trumps being with a foreign shaman.

The vine will teach and train you in its ways.

The plants will do the work, if they are administered with respect.

So, divide and conquer ,plant the plants, spread the jungle's message.

  3. Yeah a good night out, a lot of familiar faces and friends.

You always have a special connection once you have a brew with somebody in circle.

Seeing somebody you met for one night a year ago,and they are like an old friend.

Certainly another aspect of aya that could be part of the brew.

I would have loved a free drink for everytime somebody asked me if I know or have seen Whitewind

    some had gifts for you.

I hope you met some somebody dude.

We totally need sab ID or something for these public gigs.

  4. Great executive decision Toast.

And seeing you have the furthest to come,

and the hardest job convincing Torsten to give u the time off.

    Full moon weekend 27/4

Plenty of time for everyone to get to vinnies for a safari suit.

Lets get a big planthead tribe together for a legendary weekend.

Hillbilly was talking about scoping out a new campsite, so we will get that organised too

so everyone and stragglers can find it.

  5. So Anzac public holiday is on a Thurs ,the full moon is on the Friday, Sat the 29 is the night after the full moon for all those who believe the moon has anything to do with subs. just sayin

Mardi grass being the following weekend, the next following available date being Sat 11 May.

Easter weekend is at the start of April

Last year we went 24 March and it was dry as

Just some info for the group

  6. Ok, plenty of people who are keen.

We always leave the date till the last minute, waiting for reports on the subs,

but that often excludes people who need to put in holidays , and bargain with the wife etc.

We all have heaps of goodies ,so lets leave the subs up to fate.

It is more important that we choose a date soon so people can book time off on the fri and Mon

Lets not clash with mardi grass.

You guys with families, what date suits you best, in the easter hols or not.

Watertrade, what date would suit you.

    Middle of April ?

  7. Rak's movie is ready soon.

All the special screenings seem like entertaining evenings for a SAB meet up.

See you there at the Sydney one

SYDNEY: Thursday 7th Feb @ the Auditorium, Paddington RSL 7-11pm. 90 minute film screening with introduction by writer and co-director Rak Razam, followed by an afterparty with special guests, the ayahuasca-inspired sounds of Hunter Lloyd (www.hunterlloyd.com). A community panel discussion also follows with Sydney Evolver and guest musician Ben Lee (http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/benlee), skyping in from L.A. to talk about ayahausca and the shamanic resurgence in the West in 2013 and beyond. $20

  8. Yes, direct communication is the key to avoiding these situations.

It is a shame that the scenario-

'members of our lovely network, at at gathering, sharing "things" with the usual generosity.'

somehow goes pear shaped , then escalates online, a missed email here....a public letter there......

reading this thread from the start was a mystery, at least you guys, thru PM sorted out some stuff ,

maybe threw some water on the burning bridge and helped us fill in the gaps and join the dots in the story as well.

without getting deep at all, or going into the semantics of an entheogenic sociopath.

to me, the moral to the tale seems, if you think your scammed, sort it out sooner rather than later,

front the person "excuse me X, i thought we had a bargain " or "im wondering if we have had a misunderstanding?"

but I cant talk, im way too passive , and yes I would bottle it and swish around my head, being distorted by substances that should be doing lovely things in my monkey mind instead. ( hopefully i can purge it out in my garden first opportunity)

I hope you guys can leave this issue without any bitterness.

Without this situation, it sounds like you would have respect for each other.

P.S for us neutral readers, the subplot of the energy burst/recently departed is very interesting.

how much is stuff thats happening on "other" levels, impacting our level and possibly creating distractions, that cause scenarios like this?

  9. Ok, I sussed out the Kariong Hieroglyphs

    Easy to find

Its a 20 min easy walk in, dont know how old arthritis knee would cope carrying camping stuff in.

Great and curious spot for a day meet.

There is a cleared area at the rocks to camp

The place has shrooming written alll over it.......including one in the carvings.
