What did you do in your sacred garden today?
Horus replied to theuserformallyknownasd00d's topic in Ethnobotany
All I can tell you planthelper is my garden has always been mulched with entheos and it does just great. The Caapi and acacias naturally drop heaps of leaves. So mulch the vine with acacias, and the acacias with vine. So symbolically and energetically (and psychologically for me) the meeting and synergy of the plant spirits is beginning in the garden, well before the pot. Then all brew remnants are given back to the vine with all due respect and thanks. My subaeruginosa patch is woodchipped with acacia confusa bark just for good luck. Not much science applied in my garden planthelper.......mainly mysticism......yeah bucket loads of mysticism. -
What did you do in your sacred garden today?
Horus replied to theuserformallyknownasd00d's topic in Ethnobotany
Well I mulched my vine with"ayahuasca" brand super phleb mulch. It puts the DMT back in your roots. Available from all good shaman. Helps grow a good aya room. -
Happy Birthday fellow aquarian. Enjoy a love filled day bro.

I enjoyed "mental" for a laugh, and I will admit to being pleasantly surprised by "red dog" good to see the aussies are still making those quirky movies.

SPOILER Aya Awakenings – Review and Discussion
Horus replied to whitewind's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
Nice personal review whitewind. Shame we didnt all catch up. I agree, in all the aya hype there is little mention of the importance and joy of growing the plants themselves. It takes the experience to a new level again when you are brewing with plants you grew and love. Journeying with them. to my mind, being with your own 10yo vine trumps being with a foreign shaman. The vine will teach and train you in its ways. The plants will do the work, if they are administered with respect. So, divide and conquer ,plant the plants, spread the jungle's message. -
Ah.... the passion of a serious collector. From those of us waiting for cuttings from plants you dont even have yet, I wish you the best in your search.

Yeah a good night out, a lot of familiar faces and friends. You always have a special connection once you have a brew with somebody in circle. Seeing somebody you met for one night a year ago,and they are like an old friend. Certainly another aspect of aya that could be part of the brew. I would have loved a free drink for everytime somebody asked me if I know or have seen Whitewind some had gifts for you. I hope you met some somebody dude. We totally need sab ID or something for these public gigs.

Great executive decision Toast. And seeing you have the furthest to come, and the hardest job convincing Torsten to give u the time off. Full moon weekend 27/4 Plenty of time for everyone to get to vinnies for a safari suit. Lets get a big planthead tribe together for a legendary weekend. Hillbilly was talking about scoping out a new campsite, so we will get that organised too so everyone and stragglers can find it. -
well thats all coincidental I was watching ants on my vine this arvo. now I will watch more carfully what they are up to.

Ok, plenty of people who are keen. We always leave the date till the last minute, waiting for reports on the subs, but that often excludes people who need to put in holidays , and bargain with the wife etc. We all have heaps of goodies ,so lets leave the subs up to fate. It is more important that we choose a date soon so people can book time off on the fri and Mon Lets not clash with mardi grass. You guys with families, what date suits you best, in the easter hols or not. Watertrade, what date would suit you. Middle of April ? -
Sociopathic empathy on entheogens??
Horus replied to rahli's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
Yes, direct communication is the key to avoiding these situations. It is a shame that the scenario- 'members of our lovely network, at at gathering, sharing "things" with the usual generosity.' somehow goes pear shaped , then escalates online, a missed email here....a public letter there...... reading this thread from the start was a mystery, at least you guys, thru PM sorted out some stuff , maybe threw some water on the burning bridge and helped us fill in the gaps and join the dots in the story as well. without getting deep at all, or going into the semantics of an entheogenic sociopath. to me, the moral to the tale seems, if you think your scammed, sort it out sooner rather than later, front the person "excuse me X, i thought we had a bargain " or "im wondering if we have had a misunderstanding?" but I cant talk, im way too passive , and yes I would bottle it and swish around my head, being distorted by substances that should be doing lovely things in my monkey mind instead. ( hopefully i can purge it out in my garden first opportunity) I hope you guys can leave this issue without any bitterness. Without this situation, it sounds like you would have respect for each other. P.S for us neutral readers, the subplot of the energy burst/recently departed is very interesting. how much is stuff thats happening on "other" levels, impacting our level and possibly creating distractions, that cause scenarios like this? -
Great opportunity thanks, PM;ed

hi. WTB or trade for a brugmansia ..established /advanced
Horus replied to inti's topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
You should have taken a large cutting when u were up the other day. Grows quick. There is a great nursery in QLD that mails healthy rooted cuttings,a quick search will find them. Make sure you get one suited to Sydney. A lot of the exotic colored ones only like the tropics.
