Good ozzie films retrospective review from a greek cinephile
Northerner replied to sagiXsagi's topic in Chill Space
Wyrmwood is well worth a watch as well if you like horror sort of stuff sagiXsagi, very funny too. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2535470/ Should also check out Red Dog. Top notch fare. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0803061/ So many films though. Aussies make great flicks. -
I guess it's just a small offering in the greater scale. Especially as these sort of things are going to be discussed again and again, and somehow we're gonna need to find billions of dollars to clean up the coronavirus mess... might be seen as a good way to cut costs.

Enchanting pic, thanks so much for sharing Glaukus.

A friend of mine across the pond in Kiwiland would like to have a go at growing some A. Acuminata. It's too muggy up here so there's none to be found for me to fetch seed for him. Does anyone have some laying around, thick or narrow phylode is fine. I have a pretty extensive seed bank and am happy to swap something in kind. Thanks

Sooooo... I did the maths. Almost 3 billions dollars could be saved by decriminalising drug use in QLD. If we split that equally among 5 million QLDers we could all get $600 each. I reckon if that went to a referendum, let the pot smokers do as they will and get $600 windfall the result would be a resounding yes. I don't even smoke anyway. I just want my $600.

Leafy vines and psychotrias grow very well. Most peruvianus cactus grow great as most trichs. Shrooms be shrooms, they grow anywhere. I've got an array of acacias that absolutely thrive here as well, grow happily 2-3 meters a year. Tropane containing plants and trees and other beautiful poisons grow well too. Depends what you are looking for... what you want to do.

Forgive my noobish question... we all have to start somewhere. I've got some logs that were gifted and they now have some sizable pups growing off them. What's the best way to get them growing in their own pots? I was thinking to cut them off as close as possible to the log and let the cuts dry a couple of weeks, then just stand them up buried in their own pots and let them go. Am I missing something? Thanks Northy

I let mine go to about 4 ot 5 inches. I don't know the recommended, they just looked good to go about that stage.

Hahaha... they thought they could step in and charge $20 a gram for plant flowers and everyone would buy it because they are legal, overnight millionaires right? I'm glad the monopolisation\capitalisation of it is failing for them. In other states the prices are even more ridiculous. I saw this posted on another forum recently. This is the price of shatter on the first day of legalisation in Idaho. pic of docket here Cunts be dreaming.

Melbourne - EGA Fantastic Fungi Screening & Mycology Panel Discussion
Northerner replied to RonnySimulacrum's topic in News & Notices
I've been watching the progress on this film for years, so glad they've finally finished it. I bet it is a masterpiece. As usual everything is a million miles away from me. So jealous of you folks who are close enough to attend. -
Licence requirements for selling herbal cigarettes?
Northerner replied to ZooL's topic in Legal Matters
If you start making legal high mixes with damiana, mugwort, lions tail etc I'm pretty darn sure some morality policing official will twist some law to fuck up your idea IF you mark it for smoking. Other than that there's quite a bit out there on the market already. -
Yes please mate.

okay, I signed it too now. Will share it around now I know it exists.

Didn't really know where to put this, guess it goes here. I've got a young mango tree that got all these spots on him and dumped his leaves. I thought he was dead. Now he started growing leaves again but the black spots are back. Does anyone know if this is bacterial black spot or fungal? Not sure what to do. Thanks linky to tree pics

Mango feeling crook
Northerner replied to Northerner's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
Just in case anyone wondered... The spots are mango anthracnose, a type.of fungus. I removed all the bad leaves and treat the rest of the plant weekly with copper oxychloride spray. It's coming along now. Happy tree.- 1 reply

Well, really quiet from the pollies on the ACT laws. They've either got bigger fish to fry and are gonna let this one go, or they're busy applying pressure and bribes to quietly try and kill it.

Thanks mate. Hopefully my logs will make some new pups if I take their babies away too.

Where do people sell second hand vape gear in Australia?
Northerner replied to readyasever's topic in Chill Space
I've got some mechanical vape gear that I've had for years and will be good for life, but electronic stuff will undoubtably fuck up within a few years. It is a slow forum, the old one it sprang from was much busier. They're a nice mob, and it is a place to buy and sell gear here in Aus. -
They can, doesn't mean that they will though. Going directly against local law won't earn them any favours with the same government who pays their salaries. Ironic that that may just be what it takes for them to stand down.
