    Bro's garden dying!

You seem to be attracting the same females mate if your garden could be sabotaged on 5 different occasions... that's one hell of a pattern.

Hey, I'm having troubles finding the roolz guys. Not that I want to see how heavy I can troll people. Just want to know the etiquette on which plants we can and can't discuss, what we can go into details with what we can do with these plants etc.

    Quotes of the day.

“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad." "How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

    Watch this space

I had a mate call the "Dob in a vaper" hotline in QLD whilst he was visiting from VIC and dob himself in. The to and fro with the email was hilarious. But they didn't send out the SWAT team and basically all it ended in was them telling him to go and drop off his nicotine containing eliquid to a poisons centre. But there have been raids and customs seizures (despite nicotine not being illegal on a federal level). People dosing themselves with vapourised liquid nicotine rather than smoking highly taxed and extremely toxic tobacco have caught the brunt of the courts and landed massive fines in Queensland. So is it a social issue or a political issue these archaic laws? Both maybe? I can't see the way that Australia will ever overcome it's protectionist policies. Everything will be either illegal or compulsory in the not too distant future.
  10. That's great to hear Alchemica, is your friend still alcohol free? As someone who has struggled with alcohol addiction and successfully treated it with psychedelics I can vouch anecdotally for using them for this purpose. Though it doesn't really cure alcoholism, it just really puts you off alcohol. Alcoholism is more of a coping mechanism once one has passed the physical addiction stage. When things became difficult in my life years later and I didn't know how to cope I turned to alcohol again. I used harmalas to move away from alcohol after that and found them more effective and less scattering than taking massive doses of acid. When prepared and dosed correctly harmala alkaloids exhibit a reverse tolerance (or increased sensitivity) as you use them and you are better able to process the effect, use meditative processes to actually address the causes of your anxiety, and reduce your dosage. It worked for me and I found them far more effective than psychedelics for the purpose.

I didn't think so, but as an Alien fan it's worth a watch.

    Photobucket now charging

They do make really nice canvas prints and photobooks... if you use them for that. I have some beautiful stuff I have bought from them. But for pic hosting, they've been going downhill for a long time... Imgur or tinypic. Tinypic is good because you can just load stuff at random without an account.

Acacia that suits my tropical location

Hi Skellum, I've got some Psychotria Viridis, yes they grow really well up here. Most S American jungle plants and vines thrive here too. I'll definitely post pics of my plants as they become on topic. I'm not a cactus person though, I'm sure I'll be forgiven. I'll watch out for communacacian too, thanks for the lead. Hi smithy, thanks for the pointers. I'd looked at Maidenii before but kind of written it off looking at distribution maps like this one. This and other things I read were indicating to me that the tree would prefer a more varied cycle rather than the relative year round heat and damp that we have here. I must look again more closely. Same with blunt leaf. Confusa is a great idea though. Although it's not native it's got leaf and phyllode potential and looks beautiful. What exactly to you mean by weedy?... invasive? Half of my town would love me and the other half would want to kill me.

Legality of Catha edulis in NSW

Yeah, it used to grow everywhere in WA until there were Africans climbing in peoples trees in their front yards and causing a commotion. Kind of a shame as it's such a pleasant tree, despite it's mildly addictive properties.
