I'm sure the owner loves cash. I wouldn't state how I've experience people's annoyance for the fun of it. It's mainly younger people behind the register. Some will roll their eyes, or ask if my chips broken and upon saying no I just don't use it their face tells the story of not understanding. My best example is every Friday everyone out in a dollar and we buy cakes and stuff for smoko to share. Every Friday it's the same thing... 'you really need to start using your card' or 'next time we won't accept these coins' (I'm not joking about this either) to my reply, if you refuse to accept legal tender can you please put it in writing. Then they don't say anything lol. everyones different and my experience is but one in 7 billion. But I see it more and more as the months go buy. Actually yesterday I got a quote for a tree lopper and upon given the price I asked if he could do any better for cash (ie knock the gst off) to he reply - 'sorry we don't take cash anymore, it's all gotta be on the books'. Which I was quite surprised at.

anyone who's even slightly awake should be able to see cashless society is nothing but a control measure. Starting with plastic cards now pay pass, people are to lazy to open there wallet and think how much cash to remove just like when the tv came out with a remote. I refuse to use PayPass and am amazed how many checkout people are 'annoyed' that I use cash or insert a card and type a pin. I've made comments too it to these people about control and taxing etc. Only once the facts smack them in the face do they even acknowledge it's it 'might not be good'. But I'm sure after o walk out the door they forget and don't care. But like anything else. It'll happen one day and the idiots who support it blindly will be pointing blame soon after.

I would imagine given they have the earth to grow into now, they'll expend a lot of energy making a root system. I wouldn't be too concerned with growth yet. I'm sure when their established they will go crazy. Looks amazing.

My research said it was a cacti. I understand all cacti are succulents but not in reverse. Though I'd be interested in other opinions. Scrap that. Yeah looking now I must have misread something. Just a succ. Funny though cause I used a cacti identification guide to work out what it was.

Interesting to know. I haven't tried grafting yet, but when I do it'll be worth a shot. I'm just amazed how big the bud is. It's like 100mm long. I read some species can get flowers up to 400mm in diameter. I would imagine when this opens it'll be around 150-200mm diameter.

Looks very similar to mine. Try drying it out. Don't water it for ages. But it won't go, just hopefully not grow anymore.

So these cacti have grow so fast the last 6 months. And it's got this on it. Ideas? Pest? Fungal? How do I treat it?

About 9 years ago now I bought a bunch of cacti seeds from SAB. The only ones that survived the attempt at sowing back then was my Cuzco and Willi. I had two willi's (lol) but a caterpillar ate one and tried to eat the other but obviously got side tracked and forgot what it was doing lol. I tried sowing some LW seeds I got last year off eBay but some critter ripped everything up so I lost my Willi's. I did a search and couldn't find anything around. Can anyone assist or point me in the right direction i did see one site, but I can't find it again. There was at least 20 variations of LW. Are there different types (ie not diffusa or the other 2).

Looks like a bigger more evolved version of what my cacti has atm. Is that the only one? Just below it there's a smaller brown dot I can see which looks exactly like mine. Are there more or similar things on it. If it's related to the problem I've got it appears it's a fungus due to over watering, or high humidity.

I seen these mad looking plants on a picture about 2 mins ago. Trachyandra is all I know about them, but they look so glorious. Does anyone have any info on these? Or where to get some? Or have any to share? Seeds/cuttings/plants
