only time will tell, there are environmental causes of variegation, fingers crossed, could just be sunburn or cold exposure!
it's still early days to know for certain

I've heard the trichos can tolerate some pretty damn cold conditions once fully established, the polystyrene cup on the growing tip is an excellent tip I've heard recommended a few times!
