Just wanted to say it would be great if when browsing the store there was a way to only view items that are in stock or to order items that are in stock first. Especially under the 'echinopsis' category there are about 20 pages of mostly out of stock items.

This video on steganography is pretty cool.. I wrote some some C for uni to embed text into images using least significant bit steganography. It was pretty easy but I think LSB is not the most secure.

This is what I am thinking would be cool, keep in mind I'm relatively new to the forum, but I've known about this place for quite a while. IMO the trade forum should be private and you should need a certain number of posts and to have been around for say 30 days, then if you have paid the five dollar annual membership fee you get access to a private discussion forum, chill space style, plus the seed and plant exchange forum. If you had to pay even a small fee we could probably avoid situations like those recently with people creating fake accounts as well as decreasing the likelihood of people abusing free trade threads and similar. Just an idea, also I'm not opposed to advertisements, really we could have both. I just think this could be beneficial for seed and plant exchange, being the only trade thread of its kind in Aus I would hate to see it get soured by scammers and manipulators. /rant

If anyone knows where I can download this video in blu-ray for free please let me know, I'm pretty broke so really can't justify paying $15 for the video. Or if anyone knows of any other good vids like this send me a PM.

Acacia ID? Possibly Longifolia / Obtusifolia?
Dale replied to squidgygoanna's question in Plant Identification (non-cactus)
I am a total noob when it comes to acacia identification but I've read obtusifolia flowers December to February and longifolia flowers a bit earlier like November to December. It is June so it is far too early for either of these plants to be flowering right? Go have a look at worldwidewattle or see if you can get a field guide -

effect of caffeine and valarian on perception of time
Dale replied to Zen Peddler's topic in Chill Space
Interesting I remember reading something about psychosis caused by extremely high doses of caffeine. Although I'm not sure if this is a common effect or not. From Wikipedia: -
G'day I'm also new around these parts although I've known about this place for some time. People are very helpful and it always amazes how much time some people have put in to researching or putting together tutorials and teks. There is such a wealth of information out there about these plants that if you dig deep enough you can find out almost anything. Here's to all the unsung forum champions haha Your vision of your dream garden is pretty cool it sounds pretty awesome I love colourful plants and gardens that stand out. You should put some dragon fruit in there that's kinda psychedelic looking. You definitely have a lot to work with so I'm sure you will come up with something impressive.
