Oh yah some of the named CV's I see for sale make me just laugh. Yes that is hte same strain the centipede had like 4 inchs spines when I got it, but since I'm on equater and get short amount of bright sun the spines are smaller at around 1-2 inches.

No worries I just just checking, he was selling tons of these lil cuts for $10-$15 of many strains but they were all pretty damaged. Ddin't know if you grabbed one of the few A grade ones and grew it out. No worries though looks good. I need to top mine, she;'s getting a lil long in the colunm. Here in my local it grows tiny short spines, isn't as fat, and is a nice aqua blue. I'll photo her and post a pic. I thik I was gonna try to get EG a pic cause it shows its spines from CA vs Sub Tropics in spines by inches. Also I thihk the falli ng out of the spines in mail is a Lumberjack thing, it happened on mine too, I have a 2-3 inch bald spot where all the spines just fell out of the top and sides on tip. Looks like you lost some top spines too. About the other Lumberjack I know one guy was selling one that when informed it wasn't a lumberjack changed the name to centipede. I got a cut of that if you want it. Slow grower but really blue here and really dense.., Its tuned into a nice cacti I think it I replace the soil it'll probably speed up. My soil skills weren't as good then when I planted it.

I'm by no means an athority but I had severe problems putting seedlings that size in pots that large. about 1/4 rotted out. I find I have much better success if I keep em trayed and together till they are at least an inch. Even then I go 4 to a 3.5 inch tray. But if it works for yah! Go for it.

Heheheheh this is a root wher something rubbed up against it and it thought it was time to root itself. I have a lumber jack that has these thing 2 inches long in groups of 3-5 roots on too spots on my column where an oak branch rubbed up against it.

Doubt full if your just removing em from fruit. Usually they dry out and then become more fertile the 1st couple months... . It was funny I bought some zelly/misplant seed and planted it all and got no germination at all. I msg'd misplant and bitched a lil but she asured ,me they were fresh seed she made that season a month prior/ Well after 30 days they all started popping up everywhere and I got this suiper packed tray of yearlings now. I mentioned it to Ben at SS and he's the one they told me they took a month or two to kick in and get active and that germ rates would be better after 3-4 months then 1, or may be not better but quicker. On another front I got a large amount of pretty much sterile seed from a vendor that wanted to clear inventory. I bought htem well aware half could have 0% germ rate and at most I may see 10%. Well the price was so good I bit. So I decided it was time to play with GA3. WOW does that stuff make a difference. I planted a tray of 50 each of the same seed one in pure water, 1 in a low Hydrogen peroxide low ga3 mix, and a 3rd a high GA3 mix. The water 1 has 1 sprout, the low ga3 one has 5 sprouts, the heavy ga3 one has 17 sprouts. I do see the elongation people talk abaout but if that goes away in time it it will be fine.... Anyone have XP with GA3? I'm a total newb.

Broke my tray up today and repotted em all. Heres what I got, you can see the non mutation samples in side corner, larger ones in 3.5 inch pots. and smaller ones in another tub-tray. Sorry for pic quality, when its sunny I will bust out big camera and get some close ups.

Have 2 more varieties and can give you plants 1.5 years old stunted from being in trays way way way too long. They are Validus x TJG and I'll look up the other variety later. I think thier SS02 x Strybing I'll look at tag in morning. Thanks. You pay shipping of coarse. Listing some on ebay too. Are in B and C condition, Shipping $6.80 and donations are accepted. Free to good home and shipping paid. Will fill a small priority box or a lil more. D grade look in bad shape but still have roots and got burned reallly bad but all are popping new growth from tops. Aprox 30 yearlings 1-3inches sun hardened. Doing 2 packages of 15 each. US only unless you wanna try to ship it. NO TAKERS YEARLINGS DESTROYED I'm gonna have tons more yearlings for free, I just need the space and am breaking up trays to go into pots. Unfortunately I just don't have space to keep all these around so faster route if they don't ship is to destroy them. I will post what I have extra and if no takers, they will be culled.

So I stumbled onto this freeware program called dia (Short for diagram I think) But you can make PVC hydro tables, irrigation systems, data center wire layouts, garden layouts, flowcharts, circuit design, lego design, pretty much anything you want. Imagine if you made a blueprint program and crossed it with a cocktail napkin and you have dia.
