I scored what i think is a jackpot. I just got me a huge T. Scopulicola plant that I am going to be using as my backyard show piece and future mother used for cuttings. I got this thing for a steal too. also pictured is a 12ft long arm of a bridgesii plant i took center cuts from. 8 total. Very nice plant. also pictured is a catapillar that eat into my small bridgesii and hollowed out part of it! also pictured is a top cut of a Peruvianus. freakin huge.

EG you really opened my eyes with this comment. it never even occurred to me that starting tons of seeds would not only produce awesome cactus cheap but.. all the variations! DUH. cant wait to start mah seeds. i have so many freakin projects going right now and now that i have a live in gf i have a whole new person to assign projects to me!

wow guys. lots of great info. insights i didnt really consider. my whole idea is to be able to provide properly labeled tricho's to the community since as we can see its kind of a bitch to find decent stuff often. I plan on trying to get my foot in the door with selling cuttings/potted plants from nurserys ( i have one connection so far ) while i start tons of seeds. that way im kinda sorta up and running when my seeds get going. but it really does seem like i should just focus on seeds for the next 2 years and hope to have somthing badass in 5 years. if this is my path it will become clear what i should do ;)

Everything ive seen looks just like what I have. Kinda square, filled in look with small spines. do you have pics you can link me to showing a spineless scop? now i gota get one..or 10.. nevermind i see them now. very nice looking those spineless scops. -
