Geez BT. Sounds like you've been having a bit of a rough trot. I struggle with similar problems ( amazing how many people do these days). Quitting the bud for me was a weird experience too. Its quite an adjustment for your body to go through. But stick with it if you can. And +1 to the meditation suggestion. If you haven't tried it already, then I strongly recommend it. Its amazing how productive and beneficial sitting down an doing nothing can be. It does take time though. Hang in there brother. Everything that arises passes away eventually.

A South African friend once said to me, referring to the aprtheid days, "the only difference between South Africa and Australia is we (SA) were stupid enough to make it written it in our laws". Struck me as quite profound at the time (many years ago now), but it still sits with me as being fairly valid. Speaking of Australia generally, not referring to individuals, we are undoubtably a country built on racism, and in many cases that sentiment still holds strong, even if people don't realise it, or show it publicly. Also, I think these days, people are so caught up in there own shit, they tend to forget theres a whole world of people feeling exactly the same as them out there, hence the hard done by attitiudes that often come out. Its sort of like we are taught to think were always right, and everyone else is out to get us, or stop us or whatever. Somewhat unrelated but simple example. Yesterday I was at a parking ticket machine where you had to get a ticket to display for free for the first 1.5 hrs. As I got my ticket printed out, an elderly lady came to line up behind me. I offered her my ticket out of politeness, and started pushing the buttons to get myself one. Her only reactions were " whats wrong with it? Why don't you want it? How longs it good for?". It never occured to her I was just trying to be polite. I think thats the mentality thats drummed into people these days. With all the bullshit about sending back the boats, muslims, aboriginals etc etc etc thats all over the media, people just forget how to be humane. Obviously not everyone is like this, and I certainly aint stating anything new. Fortunately it's the people that aren't fooled by this shit, that make me smile and think least all isn't lost just yet EDIT - isn't lost not is lost. Typing urghhhh

Ya know I never even really noticed the recent topics section. Actually had to search the screen for a couple of minutes just now before I found it (yeah I'm a bit slow haha). I tend to just hit the View New Content button an scroll down clicking on the threads that look interesting, or ones I remember posting in etc. Works for me, although I'm easy pleased

I bought got a metal self applicator and some snuff previously off Toast but still haven't gotten around to trying it, but this threads renewed my interest. Generally speaking, how much snuff should I be using for each nostril? Googled it but just got more confused.

Was out hunting today. This time different location about 60 km's south of last time.

Here's a couple more from today Mutant (both sides this time ) First ones a big (more than 20cm cap) older one. Agaricus arvensis??? Seconds only a few days old, maybe 7or 8cm. Maybe Chlorophyllum molybdites? Or are they both the same???
