    Noob's cacti

Yeh for sure here is a pic of a couple to show the differences within the seed batch, some seed produces near identical plants and other times there is a big variation, that's the beauty of growing from seed ya get to pick and choose : ) Here is a couple that are still young and have a fairly different look from each other The pics have been coming out side ways for me lately not sure why sorry about that. I have some len x sharxx blue about the same age and they are defo showing signs of being big blue basterds and pretty excited to watch them grow, so many hybrids so much goodness. There is so many but another stand out for me atm is yowie x peru john, there some beauties with distinct deep v notches and plumpness

You got the tricho bug hard core, beauty of a collection so far, sometimes it can feel you become a servant to them but they give so much back even just with there looks and presence , I feel there is a real energy to them just walking around looking at them or sitting by them. A fair few years ago I was spending a bit to much on obtaining clones but now I try refrain from giving in to it cause It is basically never ending and I would be defined financially as poor lol and with a little patience awesome plants will come from seeds, way cheaper and pretty cool seeing them develop, feels very rewarding. I have got well over a thousand going maybe even 2 thousand or more I don't keep count lol, also including coloured flower hybrids, seems cool to get some columns going with different coloured flowers. Defo gonna tame it down a bit cause its pretty much full scale for me atm but some seeds I am keen to still get are mostly bridgesii x bridgesii, waiting to see some more of them available like ritta x jeans etc Rosei1 x john is a nice hybrid I have some that are a couple years old and can see there gonna be super fat attractive beauties : ) The tbm looks a little hacked, make sure your blade is razor sharp (and sterilized) and try to make a clean slice, no hacking or sawing at it unless it is woody as heck and requires some more heavy duty equipment and oomph, not sure about the plastic for the grafts ? I use stocking or super glue, good aeration with stockings : ) Never heard this before, I am not sure of the validity of that claim, sounds dubious to me but I have no idea ? Anyhow awesome collection and welcome to the tricho club : ) P.S sorry for any errors or stupidity, I am well into a bottle of jd cause I have gone off the rails a bit again lately lol

    Post your native plant pics

Blue flax lily, eaten many of these and are slightly sweet and tasty tho I have eaten from one clump that had a slight burning sensation so I am guessing the edibility is variable from plant to plant ?

    yopo seed pods

i only have a couple of trees of both and they aren't very old but here is what I have noticed, the colubrina only has a small amount of red dots as shown here compared to perigrina which seems to have more red dots The trunks seem a bit different (remember I only have a couple to compare so not definitive in anyway) the trunk on the colubrina looks like this and the perigrina seems to have more swirly patterns, white bands or strips across the trunk and more pointy/sharp bumbs or thorns shown here The colubrina hasn't produced seed yet but seed I have seen looks kinda squarish like this the perigrina has only produced one pod so far with three seeds only one properly formed and they appeared quite round more like this Only a small amount of specimens to make a comparison with so not really reliable info but just some things I have noticed between them so far. The colubrina has no flowers to compare with but here is a pic of a perigrina flower anyway from one of the trees : )

    Newbie (Again)

    Howdy y'all
  11. Its not about advertising its about research into actions and possible applications etc. All those things you listed are so much more than what you have stated, so very much more, one very basic eg is opiates and its ability and application to provide pain relief. I doubt prohibition has very much to do with a substances appeal, look at alcohol and tobacco, both are legal but also widely used. Are you saying those things you listed are boring without prohibition ? surely not

Very nice : ) Is that first one an echinopsis tricho hybrid or a terscheckii type plant ?
  17. That is if you have created no harm or loss to others etc.
  18. The thing is that you are not your name, your name is fictitious made up entity for legal purpose , I think the controllers don't won't people to be entertaining thoughts or thinking the way your thinking, if you go to court and they call your name I wonder if you can just ignore it or just approach with the birth certificate and say there you go lol, I am not that name that is something my parents made up without my permission, I am not that name or paper and don't belong to the crown, I am of the earth, I am an earth dweller and claim right to my own spiritual and physical experience
