I was caving with a close friend (never meet before)........we came into a large hall of this living cave (I have done a bit of pot holing...living cave means it has a river)...there was water all around & at the end of the hall, rather than the water pouring down a hole, it instead defied gravity & flowed up out though a hole in the ceiling. We climbed through & found ourselves in a room of a home. A couple of kids were there, & their parents soon came in. Somehow we had left our/this world & now we were in another world/dimension. It was a nice world, not as crazy & insane as our world. You know what I mean....constant propaganda & false belief systems that the majority accept & religiously serve...you know that constant state of mind that continues to vote in 1 of the 2 parties...good cop/bad cop routine....they steal from us...destroy other countries so they can steal their resources & then call their victims terrorist etc............do all psychopaths believe that they are the good guys I wonder. Any way they said we would have to leave & return to our own world....for our own safety....of course it was a better world & we wanted to stay...become inter-dimensional refugees....... but this new world wasn't perfect...though an improvement it still had its problems.......the thing is the people of this world had the 6th sense....it gave them many abilities such as they could communicate with each other over unlimited distance simply by holding some possession of that person. Their abilities left my friend & I vulnerable..............

I spent countless hours with the chain saw carving a giant tiki pole from an old euc....burnt it a bit (charcoaled) to preserve & colour it...used some coloured marbles for eyes....& some stained glass for a hat..................she weighs a ton 300 - 400mm wide at base, maybe 6 to 8 m long....problem is I can't figure out how to erect it...tried pulling it up with the tractor ...but the wheels just spun....its euc niten ...so not a good choice in that it will rot under ground....was going to sit it on a rock & tie it off to some cabbage trees...........may have to set some trusses up next to it & try winching it up..........its a few years old..slowly getting there...

the post got here & they all germinated well, they are only about 10 - 20mm high...I'll post some pics soon (not a lot to see though, I'm planing on grafting a few to speed the process up.

Out of all my grafts, using these large (1.5 - 3m long) San P pupping logs for grafting has given by far the best growth rates for the scion. The ropes below are holding them from falling over, as they have very little pots, barely lager than the circumference of the log. Stenocereus marginatus & left scion saguaro (Carnegiea gigantea) & yeah this is their true colour. The saguaro (Carnegiea gigantea) seedlings (AZ's) are only 10 mm high x 10mm wide in their pot. left scion saguaro (Carnegiea gigantea) 2 x saguaro (Carnegiea gigantea) birds eye veiw 5 x harrisii scions, 3 are 200 - 300mm long, 1 long 1 is 2 doubled (middle right side), 1 tiny 1 hasn't grown, but seems solid (lowest middle) note the seedlings in the pot are still only 10 - 15mm high.

It was a red Vietnamese import, (so probably in cold storage for >3 months) goose egg size, red, (doubt they will stock them again, at $8 each @ the supermarket). Disappointing, had a hint of cabbage taste, (vine fresh is probably a world of difference). I had a red opuntia fruit recently. that also had a hint of cabbage, maybe all red cacti fruit are like this? My home grown cereus fruits are way superior....sweet and succulent, melt in your mouth & no cabbage. As they split when ripe I guess they will never be sold in supermarkets, though I have read of hybrid's that don't split.

I was generously given it by a member up North last season...as a cutting...tried grafting but it fell off...didn't want to risk losing any more, so I potted it...its pupping now...so all is good...tempted to cut & graft the pup...
