Peter Cundall recommended peeing on citrus said the best lemon he has ever seen belong to a local footy club , it was out the back where all the players pissed. he also said the first pee of the morning should not be used straight as it was far more concentrated having built up over night.

give me a pm if no-one has fixed you up with something yet Chef.

airponics/aeroponics would be ideal for this imo i've been using it on and off for years real easy to set up http://www.aeroponics.com/aero6.html on the menu on the left of page select "technical information" then select "how it works" basically use a large container with some form of sprinkler/mister inside, i've seen miniature fruit trees grown in old milk urns with the barest of set up.

Producing Seeds with Self-Sterile Cacti - How to do it
Moses replied to Evil Genius's topic in Cacti & Succulents
Definitely a good idea, or perhaps just pin both so we can keep results from each technique separated. with both easily accessible even if not knowing about the technique you will be presented with them when opening the cactus forum i'm gonna try from now till it works to cross my lops with my coloured gymnocalyciums/crests very interesting/exciting EG(just waitin on "yowie" to flower and i'll have a couple of diff trich pollen samples ready for you, watch your post next month) -

Enter The Dragon Dad use to work as an usher at what was one of the "big" cinemas in Adelaide(Odeon) so i saw hundreds of films but they would have private screenings when staff would check out new stuff, the excuse being if they had already seen it they would not be distracted from their jobs So aged 7 or 8, one saturday night Dad took me to a private showing of "Enter The Dragon" this brand new flick being shown the following day, And the impression Bruce Lee left on me shaped a lot i've done in my life, and i'm ont just talking about fighting but and i know it's a little cliche but "absorbing what is useful and discarding what is not"

Scythes and lawn mower alternatives
Moses replied to Marcel's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
we use a push mower and honey. this is honey and while being a big fan of bladed instruments i think the scythe could be a little impractical for backyard use, one little over swing could ruin mature plants, pets or worst someone.
