I tried spraying with isopropyl alchol once it didn't work, there is a rust like orange fungus on it and some of the loph heads have dried up. Does anyone know what i should do? I checked other threads on this before posting this and apparently it is contagious so i have separated it from other plants

SO i got sulfur powder 6 days ago and applied it to the main plant, i will see if it is effective the red rust is still there and the plant is a bit soft now. Unsurprisingly only the pc pachonoi grafts survived, the grafts have been successful but as i mention earlier the red rust was on all of the pups, so i applied sulfur anti fungal powder to the grafts as well The scions are all hard and healthy. Their is always someone in the toilet at my house and i always wait till the last second to go urinate, so naturally i just walk to the backyard and piss in the plant pots. This one cactus i have been peeing on has suddenly started shooting out pups from everywhere to the point that it can't even deliver enough nutrients to one of the pups. I have cut other well established and rooted PC pachonois and not one of them made more than 2 pups with vigorous watering. But this one i have peed very little on it (most of it hits the tree behind garage) and give it water a lot and it has 7 pups coming out (one at the back you can't see) I know urine has the main nutrients in it (NPK: Nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium) So much that you are suppose to dilute it in 9 litres of water other wise you can hurt the plant but i never guessed it would pup this much. Of course this is unsustainable for the plant, two of the pups are not getting bigger.

Hearing stuff like this i want to advocate for genetic screening of sperm and embryo to ensure no corrupt data like hereditary diseases passes on, but of course this is a slippery slope to gender based abortions (which we already have) and designer babies edit spelling:

Hi everyone, i have a Variegated Opuntia monacantha variegata. 'Joseph's Coat' and it makes lots of pups. It is actually quite common i see it everywhere But i have noticed one of the pups is a bright purple color unlike the other pups which are very light pink at the tips . Is this rare? Is it just sun burnt? I have decided to leave it on and see how big it gets, maybe i'll remove all the other pups so it gets the most nutrition. I don't wanna graft it just yet, i think i will wait a bit.

But all of it is purple, maybe it is a mutation pup?

So if i graft it, it will not be puprple? Awesome, can't wait
