Wowsers it took nicely. Im happy because the lil stump didnt make it. Got this seedling for around 5 dollars. I know I should be growing em myself. Im growing bridgesii, I hope theres mutants in the mist. So far I have a good record with grafting. 2 and o and this Icaros dna peruvianus is looking sharp with its first strong spines. Or glochids horray hip hip horray

That pup wasnt there 2 months ago. That why I grafted on to it cause all ths growth was going to the pup. And the loph on top of the main graft had slowed growth. Now the loph started growing again. If I take that pup out and its sept. On Nov itll be to cold to grow outside maybeby nnext spring ill try to root the pup. Since it just gave signs that the graft took and that both sions are growing im pretty comfortable

Well im happy mine is a trichocereus. Maybe a hybrid Idk. What is a pure bred peruvianus. No one could answer that question because mostare intermediate that are found somewere. I really dont care to attach a label to it just wanted to be sure it was a peruv before I "labeled it" in my mind. Ill just call it my red spined peruvianus, thats all the santaensis is anyways, peru x brdge who knows. Thanks for the input

the collection site, ? .... idk

looks similar this is from the same cutting, idk maybe its my eyes
-
I personally would say los gentiles...
-
The guy w the person who send it to me thinks its a santaensis also, only after seeing trouts notes though. He bought em as peruvianus, which sounds reasonable. Thanks u all for your feedback and opinions. !!!

mutts are thumbs up.... if the spinage is wrong maybe its because it fell at the tip, the bruising gives it away......but that's the bes night pics I could take, ill take a photo shoot of it in the right light angle today

tizocAu replied to tizocAu's question in Cactus & Succulent Identification
well he person I am getting a cut from originally thought and bought it as a peruvianus, he asked me if I thought it was a satenensis after I gave him the webite to trouts notes.... so I guess he right about it being peruvianus, I also told him I thought it was so.... tot op it off I fell the santanensis is just another peruvianus, with the gingers
