Cool, so this is clone C then GOT? I think I have the standard Fred, I didn't realize any of the other clones were common in Australia, so it is awesome to know these are floating around too.

I have a big one in NZ I got from Castle Rock nursery, he didn't know what it was and just said I could have it... I think its a crested opuntia of some kind.

I see you mostly use quite small pots, you don;t find this inhibits growth at all? I have seen cacti grow very well in large and small pots, not sure what the deal is sometimes! The small pots are great because they allow you to arrange them close together...
