Just stunning mate Im not an expert but i would be mechanically removing the scale and giving the scion a good dusting with sulfur, keep the stock on the dry side and keep the scion from getting wet at all. Not saying you should! its just what i would do if it was mine.

Señor Jefferson's plant has the classic pc look. ( i think it is pretty amazing for a pc that small to be flowering) How tall is that pach Señor? I would bet my left testical that Snowfellas is a true pachanoi...v grooves, areole shape and direction, but the dead give away is the black flower hair. Snowfella is there any chance of a few more photos?its a really sexy looking pach. I would also be super keen to trade for some of the pollen from that plant if your keen? Cheers

I have some Köhres scop somewhere sown around feb but very little growth over winter as they didnt make the cut for the light box. I will throw a few on pere this weekend......intrigued?

Mate i think Eg is onto something with the sunburn or at least some sort of hyper-sensitivity. I get these reasonably often in batchs of seeds( maybe my germination technique needs tweeking ) Had this happen with a couple of crosses but they all came good. My thoughts follow the previous thoughts... Graft it anyway... Nothing to lose everything to gain☺ Here is a pic of zellys scop x red grandi cross( this one was very kindly donated to me😀)but i think i have at least half a dozen or more heavily variegated specimens grafted from the same batch. And here is a batch of validus open showing hypersensitivity???? Variegation???... but again some are coming good. I also grafted a dozen from this group and nothing has come of it. Not atempting to flail your hopes just showing my experiences with this phenomenon. Edit for poor wording.. Cheers b

I am positive that i sent you some scop x eileen earlier this year Eg, as zed said there were very few of those seeds around to start with. I do understand you are probably after eileen as the mum.

First one is the mum second is dad so they are different crosses but same cacti. Very nice crosses as per usual zelly. Master b ...Bucket list # 1. Have a beer in zellys garden...( that would be epic)

Mate i have shit loads of flowers coming on my two big scops and bird said that he reckons his scop has more flowers coming on than last year and he must have had 30-40 min. If we cant get some pure scops between these plants something is wrong!! I will keep in close contact when time comes nigh. Im super keen to share the scop love to all our mates especially them on the other continents where they may bit more difficult to find. If anyone has a request for any particular scop crosses....let me know and i will try and track down the pollen. Also i know its a bit early but if you think you may want some of birds or my scop pollen let me know? Always happy to help Cheers B Edited for poor spelling
