Some blue oyster doing its thing. We had some for breakfast this morning. Grown on pea straw that I fermented in water for a few days then inoculated.

Yeah it got an anaerobic pong pretty quickly, left the bale submerged for 5 or 6 days from memory. Still had peas through it for extras. The hokkien noodles sounds good, had them with scrambled eggs this morn.

Hello all, I would like to get hold of some shiitake spawn on dowels and suggestions on good strains for eucalyt logs in tas. Plates maybe useful is anyone has a good source for dowels.

Comparing these to photos on WB's fungal finds thread I'm thinking they might be wood blewits. What do you all think? Found them growing inside a 44 gallon drum with the ends cut, which I have put around a walnut tree as protection.
