  6. thanks for replys Shruman-Sorry ive got no better/closer pics .im still not 100% sure on p.pringlei,but upclose rib count is about11-13, ,and it did look very similar to pic #1 (pic 2 is p.pringlei also)
  7. Yer r.i.p. mike the collection is subject to the new owners feelings on cacti. Thats why i wanna buy the house! Hopefully they enjoy them half as much as all of us cactiheads!
  8. Sorry guys mike passed away last year. Turns out the house is for sale.(if not sold already) fuck i wanted to buy it! i managed to talk his son into selling the 'mike' mother plants. They are growing at mine now, along with heaps of other stuff from mike . bloody legend i rekon. Lots of larger cacti in the ground still (heaps actually) all the pots are taken away to the sons place.but he sure did leave a shit load of cacti left to be loved!

  12. This is the pic i was going off.. The cap is similar,so are gills on pics #3-4&5 (the photo doesn't suggest the actual colour) the stem makes me unsure though..... Doesone have any info on lookalikes on s/w aus subs?

  17. Thanks for the input , This is what i found for a.pachypus cristata. Yes they do look somewhat similar snowfella. .ta
