    Cosmic cacti sale

Morning! Thanks for all the PM's and posts. There is certainly some interest, so i'll begin posting up detailed pics with prices this week. I'm in melbourne (inner-west, 10 mins from city), and for some of the bigger specimens i think the only option would be pick up. For the smaller + medium sized, i'm happy to post at the buyers expense. Sorry internationals, Australia wide only for this one! Stay tuned...

    Cosmic cacti sale

Hello SAB'ers! Long time member here, have been in somewhat hiatus since having kids. The limited yard space we have has to be utilised for the bubbas now, sand pit going in etc. so i have to downsize a little bit! I thought i'd post a pic of some of my most beloved Cacti (some pretty old & interesting varieties in here) to gauge interest. If there is interest, i'll starting edit this thread post and start posting up some individuals with prices. cheers!

    King of subs?

Hi Sab'ers, Went for a wander today, found some real sizable subs, and then this one showed up... which just... wow. Words can't do it justice, hopefully the photo does. Cosmic Victorian forests. x

    King of subs?

Ah yeah sorry chaps - that is the smaller of the bic lighters i believe. I don't smoke, so i'm not overly privvy to the sizes ... this is what i use to light the stove! But yeah, i've found some real monsters in the forests but this one was a big big stand-out find for me. That stem is about 1cm in diameter! And yes - i have felt the wrath first hand of the big bastards. IMO it's certainly advisable to weigh them first to find out what kind of deep pool you're diving in to.

    Subs 2013

I can confirm that down here in Vic sub season is in full force.. Saw an absolute bucket load on the weekend. Good cold temps and plenty of rain over the last two weeks. :-D

    Subs 2013

IMHO, Subs picked in garden mulch beds provide a different "darker" trip to those picked in the forests which are much more positive and inspiring (for me). Mushrooms absorb their surroundings, as you know. You should never pick mushrooms from the side of a road for example as they will absorb the heavy metals from vehicle emissions - these are nature's garbage collection unit after all. And whatever medium that they are growing on, and the chemicals involved there (wood chip spraying anyone?), would most likely end up affecting the fruiting bodies and their chemical makeup. Disclaimer: Personal experience. Could be a load of absolute tripe. Take with a pinch of salt.

    Subs 2013

Went for a wander in the forest on the weekend and found around 20 medium sized subs and a load of pins n young ones. (Vic) With a bit more rain down here, and cold temps, i dare say that the season will be well and truly underway!
  11. Subliminimity (hah) at it's finest. The whole album (in full quality, hit the settings icon and choose 1080p): It's very vintage / gritty / analog, almost gramaphone style music like I've never heard before, but yet tastes so familiar. You'll see what I mean. Getting me through the work day...

    Pet dogs.

Wow - impressive memory!! Yep - that was the plan, would still love that... just need a bigger yard. Because at present, most of the space is taken up with cosmic cacti!!!! (oops) :-)

Hah - i'm glad you approve!! Yeah, most people get quite a chuckle when we tell them he's called Lentil. Even now, a year and a bit on, he's still a head turner. People always stopping to give him pats and marvel at his sausage comedic cuteness... I better put up another pic then.... errr.. a recent one.. here we go: Morning yoga with the sun dog... We call him the sun dog, since he has almost no fur and just lurrrrrrves baking in the sun.

    Pet dogs.

Yep - sure is! and he only gets more cheeky as he grows up too. Hates winter tho the poor little guy - hasn't got enough fur on him to withstand the low temps! Seems to be fine on a winter hunt tho - must be the excitement of bounding around the forest with all the smells that keeps him warm :-)

http://chrome.com/maze/ Epic beyond proportion... Use your mobile to control a pinball style marble on any website in 3D space on your screen. Favourite level to play: The corroboree! wait ... actually if you search for shaman-australis.com.au - the index page is a much better level as its much less complex. the same way that google.com is a good level due to simplicity (less HTML objects) WARNING: this could eat your time up like it's going out of fashion. Enjoy :-)

    Vanishing condom...

It has happened to me mate... I feel your pain. In my case, it was, indeed, where you'd expect it be. Lodged up in the pink ether. Very difficult to get it out. Quite dangerous if left in though, so i'd be making sure that it's found!
  24. Out walking the dog when i walked past an epic front yard. This T. Brigesii monster was at least 4 - 5 metres (!) tall, in awesome health and way too many columns to count. I think i'll have to keep walking the dog that way in the hope that i bump into the owner tending to their garden so we can get out cacti nerd on. :-) Link to higher res version: http://i.imgur.com/kJYDp30.jpg
