Sandalwood poaching is a legit problem. It's like bluefin, in that if we want future generations to experience it, we need to conserve what's left. There are some sustainable sandalwood farms, but for the most part by buying sandalwood scents you are contributing to the extinction of a species. I love perfume oils, so this is a hot-button topic for me. -

I had a cactus fruit do the same. I burst open the fruit to sieve the seeds, and many of them had sprouted. I've also seen it in a pumpkin. Dunno what causes it to happen, and I'd be interested to know.

I was maybe 5. I remember looking at my shoulder in the mirror, and there was a 'string' hanging off. I tried to pull on the string, but it was painful. The day before I had been playing in the kiddie pool, for a long time apparently, because this string was a broken blister.

If they banned you, they probably aren't in the mood to do you any favours. If you want to ask them, I'd suggest you wait a few months so their mood is more level.

I have not ordered seeds from overseas, but I've gotten other things. They always tape up the box and any bags they cut open. They are meant to reseal. So many of you having problems with this would suggest deliberate inaction, if I was the conspiracy type.

Probably it would be 'plumped' to make it taste more like 'real' meat. They could maybe grow fat cells in strategic places to make it resemble specific cuts?

Those flowers are fantastic, especially the ones on the cupcake! I admire anyone who can make a sugar flower without it turning to a sticky mess. -
At least it's an inexpensive hobby! ;) I don't think my collection is weird - I knit, so I have a decent collection of yarn. When I have the disposable income, I'd like to start spinning too.

I learnt Japanese at school, but I've forgotten a lot of it. I could probably get by as a tourist. I started learning Italian to help at work, but I couldn't get my head around the genders. Disappointed that I couldn't go further.

Not necessarily. If you need heavy painkillers/pot in order to tolerate your pain, it can be frustrating that you're then too dopey to do anything. It's good that the option is there. -

I'm sure I remember a post on SAB about a similar event later this year at the Tablelands. That one was crazyballs expensive to get into, tickets were like $200 last time I checked. I wonder what the cost for this one is?
