Question

I was gifted this acacia seedling at an EGA event but lost the label. I'm assuming it is a high alkaloid species as it was at the EGA talk/plant swap on ethnobotany

Yeah, it does look very similar to the acacia acuminata I've grown from seed recently. But I am definitely NOT anywhere near an acacia ID expert! :)

I'd put my money on narrow phyllode acuminata.

Is this the same as A. burkittii?? A couple shots above look like A. burkittii to me

Burkitti used to be a sub species of acuminata, but now it is considered a separate species.
