Hi there!

Last year I was growing both N Rustica and N Tabacum, not at the same time, but in the same area. Both plants I let go to seed and traded most of it, gave the rest away.

A plant has since self seeded in a pot alongside a Scop, so I've let it grow, fed it a bit and have just harvested most of the leaves as they're turning yellow. Flower buds were always pinched off but now that I have a few leaves I'm gonna leave them on, let it flower & collect seed. It hasn't completely flowered yet but I'm wondering if the pics provided are enough for an ID?

definitely without a doubt

i had the same happen with tabacum lol

so for a comparison shot ,

rustica is a lot smaller and more compact , mine flowered yellow bells last yr and peak height reached was about 2 feet

my tabacum flowered pink and grew about 7-8 feet or thereabouts.

interestingly enough tobaccos can change their flowers to suit alternative pollinators though
