Datura seed pod question

Recommended Posts

I have a few datura plants that put out thorny pods a couple of months ago, and now they're dying off, but the pods haven't split open. Can I pick the pods and dry them and crack them open? Or should I wait?

Thanks

Or you could put a stocking over it in case you miss the explosion and lose them all

I hope theyre full of seeds for ya mate , some of mine fall off because they havent been pollinated , mostly D.metal v.fastuosa. They should be still green , if they are brown and havent split to reveal seed there could be a problem Houston...
