Guest Thelema Posted September 5, 2002 help! i need to know more about this plant, and would like to obtain it. I have found it on a few o/seas sites. Is it possibly more than just a tryptamine source?
Torsten Posted September 5, 2002 what else would it be in your opinion?? I have been chasing it for years and have managed to get some seeds of non-commercial virola species - but they never germinated (too old). The bark is commonly available though. Guest Thelema Posted September 5, 2002 have you heard the stories of the 8cm man? since such a particularly strange fable does not surround any other plants that contain dmt(most other fables are elves/goblins/buzz-monsters), i assume it may have an entirely different type of effect due to certain other compounds other than nndmt. the 8cm man is talked of as a permanent change in the shaman-to-be's ear. Torsten Posted September 6, 2002 he, he, now I am curious. no I didn't know about the 8cm man. however I think cultural conditioning together with the elf-effect can easily come to this result. It would be interesting to try in someone who doesn't know about the 8cm man (damn, why did you tell me ).
t st tantra Posted September 7, 2002 this story is in'in search of the ultimate high' page 115. 'he teaches the shaman about the visions and knowledge that comefrom caapi ' so it's really another dmt/maoi combo. other mentions made of yopo, also used with caapi, did not work instantly[as historically assumed],after snorting the powder was massaged into the sinuses then they had some more.when it came on it sounds like aya type experience. t s t .
