do you still own the first cactus you ever bought?

Had the cam out today so i thought id jump onboard! This is my first cacti, got it from bunnings 2-3 years ago, no idea what it is! Any thoughts? Im leaning towards a pach/scop hybrid. Ive read somewhere that they stocked them (unnamed) for a while? -

Don't have the time to read the whole thread but 'Crystal Fairy' With Michael Cera is amazing!, apparently in the scene where he ingested mescaline, he actually did it. Champ! Second Grave of the fireflies & bad boy bubby. It amazes me how far you can travel just by copying others, definitely a must watch if you can make it through it!

hey man, its been a while, but any updates on the gnats? I have a pretty serious problem, my seedlings are toppling over by the day I let the soil medium dry out regularly, ive got several fly traps lingering around, ive covered the drainage holes and sealed the soil surface with sterilised propagation sand, and even used neem oil to kill the live flys (2ml per 500ml), although I cant break the cycle! A couple of people have recommended a few options, although its hard to decipher some of the information given........ Can anyone suggest in plain English (somewhat that a noob would understand) how to get rid of these little buggers! Also, how do all you experts prevent them from infesting your seedlings? I think I read somewhere that cedar chip wood is effective? I keep a flea collar in my seedling greenhouse, but obviously to no avail.

Hey guys. Its my first time here, so be gentle ;) Picked this up about 2 months ago off ebay aus, $108 delivered (alot of money for a cacti, i know, but worth every cent in my eyes!), as well as a gummy 95cm from base to tip, & my gummys 16cm This is the third listing ive noticed on ebay in the last 18 months of this cultivar, two seperate sellers. So there definately around! One seller dosent list 'monstrose' or 'monstrosus' in the title, so u really have to look!
