apothecary Posted February 5, 2006 Reported by TIHKAL to contain DMT in the leaf. Acacia albida is a widely used tree well documented for increasing the yields of crops grown under it. According to VITA (1977) "A. albida is highly valued in conservation efforts. It is the only species which loses its leaves during the rainy season; therefore, farming under these trees is not only possible but profitable." It is held sacred by the Africans of the Transvaal. In Nigeria, the pod is used as camel food. The gum that exudes spontaneously from the trunk is sometimes collected like gum arabic. More info from: http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/duke_en...cia_albida.html Seeds available from: http://www.seedman.com/acacia.htm (don't know if viable, accurately identified or anything, all this is just the result of some googling).
