dildo_32 Posted January 31, 2006 Hi, I went on my first trip out to a large paddock behind my house yesterday (coastal, central QLD) and found plenty of what i believe to be Panaeolus Foenisecii and Panaeolus antillarum in cow dung. I'm judging their identity on descriptions i have read (none stained blue, some stained yellow/light orange). It was the first day after several days of rain which was preceeded by a 6 week dry spell (drought), althought it had been cloudy all day. I was wondering if anyone could advise me when the best time would be to look if i want to find some Panaeolus cyanescens or Psilocybe cubensis for my albums, as i have heard these are often found in the same vicinity as those i came across. I dont know wether i am looking to early or if they are not there already than they wont be. any help would be greatly appreciated.
