Pictures needed

Recommended Posts

Ive been back wrking on the site for a few days and i realise i lack decent photos of many species in particular the mycorrhizal and wild edible and medicianal ones

so while you are out if anyone can get any nice photos they would like to lend me i can acknowledge them to you in any way you wish

heres the section

http://home.iprimus.com.au/reville1/species.htm

have a look about and if you think you can help please e-mail me

same goes for usefuls species - think utility, medicine or food

no need for psilocybes as bluemeanies site is tailored for them

For a start people might be able to help me with:

Amanita muscaria, Cantharellus cibarius (Aussie Chanterelle), Suillus species - esp showing difference bwteen granulatus and luteus, mousy tricholomas (Tricholoma terreum)

as well as the wild saprophytes

Wood blewitt- Lepista nuda, Shaggy mane - coprinus comatus, Field mushrooms - agaricus campestris and others, Wild pleurotus, Morels, ganoderma australe, Beefstaek fungua - Fistulina hepatica, various armillaria species. etc

Thats a great help Trich-aura

i will use those

if other people want to assist what ill do is just put the best up and reassess as new material comes up

essentially im looking for a work of art BUT to be the best it also needs to illustrate key morphological features to help with ID and be representative of the species

for those mycophiles out there a picture of a sporeprint on paper (coloured spores) or glass (white or offwhite spores) would be of immense help

i shoul expand that to include gymnopilus species as well..
