jasemateau Posted November 24, 2005 thats right i'n after a gingko cutting that well more so a little plant. i got some seeds from germany a few years ago and well they are no longer via-able they were submited to quarantine on arrival they were ok at that time. how ever every year since i have treid to germinate then and all have been duds. so about the only thing i have a surplus of at the moment is 2x 20cm pereskiopsis plants i wonder if anyone can help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

merrymerlin Posted November 27, 2005 Ginkgo biloba can be struck from cuttings. But layering works even better. Take a branck close to the ground and wound it near a leaf node. Fix the branch to the ground and cover with soil. When the roots have taken you can cut the umbilicus to the new plant. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
