subaeruginosa indoor cultivation

Recommended Posts

Good effort isn't it? I've been doing exactly the same thing with a slight variation). I've been using plastic trays, the ones they use in plant nurseries. After many, many trials I decided to fill one of those trays with sphagnum moss(half way) which keeps misture up. Then I put another tray on the top of the sphagnum and fill it with cardboard, woodchips and collected mycelium, and cover with the third tray to create microclimate and stabilize RH. seems to be working fine. Every now and then I stir the content of the mycelium-holding tray, mixing in some more woodchips(Strophariaceae like disturbance anyway...). So far I can not boast about fruiting any of my trays, but I'm possitive I'll suceed sooner or later. Once the wood has been fully collonised I'll try casing with vermiculite. I've had a very possitive experience with this product when used for casing other woodloving species. Should be fun.

Cheers.
