A million grains of sand faded from this chosen land.

I don't know for sure just why the Angels let them go.

Deep inside I fear a hundred thousand slaves died here.

Repent for heavens sake, redemption's here now don't be late.

Now I've found my way, live to fight another day.

Inside this empty shell of mine.

I still crave the worlds I left behind.

It's too hard to ignore,

I've tasted life now i want more.

Prophetic as it seems,

I've fulfilled all my wildest dreams.

They fade, as into night,

These whispered words of sick delight.

My memories remain,

I haven't changed I'm still the same.

And I can see this life of mine

unfold before my eyes

erupting from the cesspools of my mind.

Another time, another place

I'd long for your embrace

under the stars where I was born.

So long ago

My heart was torn away by you.
