Scion Split?

"Species which normally experience very slow growth on their own roots may develop a split on the scion if grafted onto a large fast growing stock taller than 8 cm"

Does this mean I shouldnt use my 1m tall cereus to graft a peyote

i asked a professionnal cactus grower, he say no problems!you can grapht a big nomber of little peyotl on the same plant.just very be careful to put the "veines"of the scion just near another of the rooted-plant (sorry for my english).hope this help you.
