Can seedling lophops be grafted?

Recommended Posts

I have always grafted between 3 to 4 year old peyotes on top of trich's, I have never tried to graft smaller Lophops.... my question is how small can you go?

Smallest I have done was thumbnail size....

the reason I am asking is that I once read that that it is possible to graft seedlings...., is it?

That would be amazing! And also mean.......,

muahhahahaha muahahahaha, rubbing hands in each other with a derranged & twisted look..... smile.gif

Iv grafted lopho seedlings a lot off times. In my experience they need to be about 2 to 3 months old a good sign is when the little areoles or fluffy spiky bits appear.

I normally get about a success rate off 7 out off 10

Good luck

smallest I've done is 3-4mm. not easy and requires humidity (all sorts of other problems due to this), but possible.
