Does Loph's like be touched?

Recommended Posts

I know this is a VERY silly question, but I gotta ask this question anyway, does Lophophora's like to be touched???, I mean being lightly gently squeezed to see/check out the firmness of the Loph's? The reason I ask is because I hardly touch them anyway, but sometimes my guests touches them, and I kinda don't like it, but I just grin and say nothing....Because I was thinking how Loph's are "god-created" or whatever to be small to protect themselves in the desert?

A little firm squeeze is fine. Just to check if they are dehydrating a bit or or rotting. If they are happy they should be a little softer than an apple (quite firm).

I don't squeeze them often but they don't get "upset" if I do.

All that touching might make them horney!! smile.gif

I'm sure some people lick them, where is CS when you need him?

Have found on occasion, that when I touch them they feel very much like human skin and have much the same warmth and textural qualities that skin does.

Makes me wonder of the divinity behind peyote and what he is like

thanks... biggrin.gif yeah I noticed that too tripitaka.

Just curious again, if they ever start to feel bit soft, is that sign of over-watering?? or needs more water? Or it's the humdity can make them feel bit soft too?

Cheers WA
