got a number of these from the Secret Garden

if you know what they might be, please tell

a flower opened on one today

had some Bondi scop pollen left from Master B so i poured the rest of it on the stamen :)

its from the beginning of the year so i dunno if its still good or not, we will see.

echinopsis gradiflora or florus is what it looks like but they usually have red or pink flowers?

maybe its a cross grandi / spachi?

im sure EG will sort this out.

sorry. probably not much help mate. just puttin in 2 cents I guess.

They are very similar to Grandiflorus but have this waxy skin and grow like a clumper. They form large groups, only reach about 50cm in size and come in all flower colors as there are many natural hybrids. One of the most important plants in hybrid culture.

Ive another 'type' coming to flower also that i thought was a Candicans, now I'm not sure

will put some pics up for id as well, bit dark here now, maybe tomoz.

Olive- fwiw, the female portion of the flower is called the pistil, & the pollen laden male portion is called the stamen.....

For successful reproduction, the male must impregnate the female :) :) :)
