Scarecrow Posted April 4, 2015 I didn't know you can use the leaves. I've got a nice bushy valerian plant that I've been contemplating digging up some time soon. LokStok Posted April 4, 2015 ^ you can uproot it, harvest some roots, and then replant & as long as there is some root system left it will carry on. I split/divide/harvest mine like this regularly with no problems. I'm pretty sure the leaves are not medicinally active. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
