waterboy 2.0 Posted October 31, 2014 Wasn't sure where to put it...here will do grass lawns suck balls.... end rant. So I've promised the good woman a chamomile lawn ( well actually raised sun bed thing) for a long time now....lol. If I can pull off a well established raised bed , that smells nice and is fit for sun lounging,....and keeps you safe from snakes and other such shit thats intent on your death or displeasure...lol...I am getting serious brownie points .....and its an interesting project... So master plan was to raise a heap of roman chamomile (C.nobile) and build up the bed and plant out. I am now thinking plant out and oversow, to get a thicker cover quicker. But I've made a start and raised a heap for the initial transplant, got a bit of time to grow em out. I am thinking just untreated timber sleepers for the low raised bed.....have some thoughts on other materials, but I sort it out soon. I'll update this as I tack away to glory

Nailthesnail Posted November 1, 2014 Sick project!one problem I have had with lawn chamomile is that you gotta keep it more on the wet side of life or it will dry out, but that could easily be human error on my part lol. That sounds awesome!

waterboy 2.0 Posted March 27, 2016 (edited) lol... to keep me honest Heres where its at...... shit slows you down in life at times...get through it and get it done. Plus I wanna think it through..lol Plan is enough room on a low raised bed for a "daybed", with a high raised bed boxed up on one end for a seat. Bluestone rock for the walls, soil infill. I have a heap of seedheads from this season. Anyone know the best way to seperate the seed out? I am thinking a rub over a metal screen, then do a winnow with a oscillating fan. Once I get the seed cracking Have no issues producing the unit to cover the grand plan. Gives me through to the coming summer to fo the walls and get a decent media in and established.
