smokeliss Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) Hi, So I have neglected these viridis plants, a combination of lack of interest and being away for days at a time has left them in a sad state. They were hit hard in a heat wave a few months back and one lost all its leaves and stems started to die. But I trimmed it right back and has already started to re-shoot. They are also starting to flower, Im just pulling the buds off as they form. I was wondering if you could give me any tips to help these guys get back on track? I'm currently living in an apartment, and the balcony only gets afternoon light, don't have a green house for them, I have just positioned them as far out of the sun as possible, but the afternoon sun still hits them, would they be better off inside? PhoenixSon Posted October 5, 2014 seasol would help with the stress, also foliar feed seasol as well.
theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted October 5, 2014 A bit of 50% shade cloth is all they'll need mate. Mine gets a drink each day and at least one hosing down / misting a day. They love some ferts and seasol too as pointed out above. They'll kick back, I fact they look pretty good anyways considering some I've seen
