planthelper Posted October 23, 2003 a big truck, passing by my home, woke me up this morning. still in bed, i looked out the window facing the southern cross. what did i see? a bright star(mag-5) where none has to be! heart was racing, i witnessed a supernova dying... the star faded... http://www.heavens-above.com told me it was a iridium 83 flare.
