Spores for the sporeless.

Recommended Posts

Hello friends,

It's been quite a while since I've fully engossed myself in the realm of mycology, I had to distance myself for a while there for the sake of others. But it's been long enough, I mean lets be honest here, why should plants get all the attention? There is something very mysterious and overlooked about these familiar strangers.

I was wondering if anyone had any prints or syringes of phallus indusiatus and/or mycena chlorophos?

Also just a general question, is there any health concerns about having mushrooms grow NOT in an enclosed container in a living space?

Thanks in advance guys!

Spores can cause allergic reactions or similar responses in susceptible individuals or immuno-compromised individuals.

Depending on the species though. Some are not so bad although some, like oysters, can shed literally millions of spores each day and build up pretty crazy.

You can however get some sporeless varieties but unless someone has gone to the trouble of making a sporeless strain it will be pretty hard to get your hands on one.

Best of luck :)

Sorry I don't have either of those species

The main health concern of growing in open space inside would be the ridiculously high humidity you would have to maintain.
